*- Your TOP ~CHRISTMAS~ movies! -*

Ohh I love getting the Christmas films out, especially whilst wrapping pressies or writing carRAB. See, you've made me feel all festive now.

My personal fave are,

It's a Wonderful Life. This film could make even the hardest nut crack open. I defy anyone not to have a tear in their eyes at the end. Utterly brilliant.

Miracle on 34th Street. Love it to bits I do.
Holiday Inn/ White Christmas.
An Affair to Remember.
The Polar Express.
Elf.
The Grinch.
Love Actually.
Jack Frost. *sniff, sniff* I always want the ending to be different to how it is when I watch this. (Sobs some more*
Bridget Jones 1 & 2
The Christmas Shoes. Not widely known, but worth a watch. Rob Lowe's in it in case you want to look out for it.
Home alone 1 & 2.
Surviving Christmas. (Ben Affleck film)
Christmas With The Cranks.
Scrooged. Hilariously funny!!!
The Santa Claus 1 & 2 (I'll have to see if the third ones been released onto dvd!)

And finally........ of course it has to be The Snowman.

I'm sure I've got more than those on video and dvd, but I can't remember what they are at the mo.

Roll on Christmas I say!!

The first time i saw this film was on tv a couple of days before christmas in the early 90's.Since then i have always associated it as a movie i watch during the christmas period.

Other movies i watch or try & catch if they are on the tv over the Christmas period are

Scrooged (Bill Murray)
Muppets Christmas Carol
Mickey's Christmas Carol(Yeah i know it's only on for 25mins but it's a great Disney cartoon)

I agree with the George C Scott version of 'A Christmas Carol', mentioned a few times here.

'Mickey's Christmas Carol' & ' The Tailor of Gloucester' (The World of Beatrix Potter) have a special place in my heart because my children loved them.
(Yes, I know, not strictly "films" :))

Home Alone 1+2
Santa Claus: The Movie
Gremlins
Christmas With The Kranks (John Grishams Skipping Christmas)
Polar Express
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
Die Hard 1 + 2

Looking to add Scrooged, Muppet Christmas Carol and a few others on the run up this year.
