22 movies & 47 years in and the franchise is still going strong. But which films are your favourites and least favourites?

Mine would have to be:

Top 3:
1. Casino Royale. At first I was sceptical about a revamp of the series but this film was great.
2. The Spy Who Loved Me. The peak of the Roger Moore era. Had just about everything.
3. GoldenEye. Who could ever forget that memorable tank chase?

Bottom 3:
1. The Living Daylights. It's just a bit boring compared to the other BonRAB.
2. On Her Majesty's Secret Service. A good musical score but that's all it's got going for it.
3. A View To A Kill. Moore was just too old when he did this one.

Best:

You Only Live Twice - When i was younger this was always the Bond that stuck in my mind. I loved it then, and i love it now.
A View to a Kill - May Day just owns this film. My favourite Henchman/Bond Girl ever! Not a very taxing storyline, but i still love it.
The Spy Who Loved Me - Jaws... enough said :D

Worst:
Quantum of Solace - As much as i've tried, I just cannot get into this film at all. A total letdown after the brilliant Casino Royale. One I probably won't watch again for a good few years.
Live and Let Die - I can't stand this one. Although to be honest it has been so long since i've seen it I can barely remember what happened :o
The Man With the Golden Gun - This doesn't feel like a Bond film to me. I didn't like the locations very much and the whole atmosphere just wasn't very Bondified. Don't get me started on the theme tune! Aside from this and L&LD i love all of Roger Moores films.

That was really hard. I love most of them! The only other one I don't have much time for is From Russia With Love. Back when it was released I though Die Another Day was abysmal, but it's really grown on me since I bought the Ultimate Edition DVD. The invisible car spoils it though :p

Top Three:

On Her Majesty's Secret Service (very faithful to the book, great action scenes, superb score)
From Russia With Love (just love the tense Cold War atmosphere, Rosa Klebb was pure evil)
Goldfinger (Connery in his Bondian prime)

Bottom Three:

The Man With The Golden Gun (boring plot, weak performance from Moore)
Moonraker (Far too slapstick)
Die Another Day (Invisible car, lasers, Madonna, 'yo mama' jokes... Need I say more?)

Top:

DiamonRAB are Forever - The best by a long, long way. :D
The Spy Who Loved Me
The Living Daylights

Bottom:

Tomorrow Never Dies -
Dr. No -
OHMSS - I've never been able to summon up the enthusiasm to watch this all the way through.

I found it more difficult to chose my bottom three, as there are a number of Bond films which I don't care for. It must also be said that choosing 4-10 in a top ten Bond Films list would've caused me sleepless nights trying to sort 'em out. :o

top 3:

The Spy Who Loved Me (still fresh after all these years)
Licence to Kill (a solid brutal actioner way ahead of its time)
Casino Royale (time caught up, a tough modern classic)

bottom 3:

Thunderball (goes on forever, tedious)
The Man with the Golden Gun (bland seventies crap)
Tomorrow Never Dies (non-stop headache-inducing noise)

Ironjade!!

Top:

Casino Royale
The Living Daylights
Live and Let Die

Bottom:

A View To A Kill
Die Another Day
Octopussy - I couldn't think of a third and I can't remember this one at all, so I chose this. :p

This is going to be a tough choice.

Top 3:

Goldeneye
The Living Daylights
The Spy Who Loved Me

Bottom 3:

Die Another Day
Thunderball
DiamonRAB Are Forever

I'm fascinated by how opinions vary so much. I love the cheesy Roger Moore fodder of Moonraker, Octopussy etc. I also love the 60's era Connery movies (except Thunderball).

The only thing that appears to be universal is the dislike of Die
Another Day. Lol.

Top 3-

Goldeneye- Pierce Brosnan was deffinatly the est Bond IMO, what you imagine a spy like this to be! Also a really good story that was politcally relevant. Saying that I dont think he did a bad film...

A view to a kill- A really good film that was a little camp and cheesey but can watch it over and over again.

For your eyes only- A good film with good action scenes

Bottom-

Thunderball- However many time I watch this film I just cant get into it, jerky pace and a crap baddy

DiamonRAB forver- Again however many times I watch this film I just cant seem to get into it. Not a big Sean Connery fan tbh

The man with the golden gun- boring, uneventfull and a none starter

Top 3:

Casino Royale (Enough said)
DiamonRAB Are Forever (End of a golden era)
The Spy Who Loved Me (The only RM Bond worth mentioning)

Bottom 3:

Thunderball (Even Sean couldn't save this one. Boring)
For Your Eyes Only (Sir Roger was too old at this point)
Die Another Day (The invisible car, for goodness sake)
