Slayers (All of them)
- Y'know I always hated D&D and elves and stuff like that, but this stuff is awsome. Not to mention Pokota in the 13 episode seasons is the cutest thing EVER.
Shiawase Apartment's Okojo-san
- Sighs. I lurve ferrets. It's too bad there's only three eps on the interwebs. Even if I could find the raw videos I would watch it.
xxxHolic
- Did you know that if your hand is bigger face you have cancer? If that's the case then everyone in this anime is F@#$ed.
Arashi No Yoru Ni / One Stormy Night
- About a Goat that befriends a Wolf. They try to hide there secret friendship, but this is a hard secret to keep. This made me cry X....
MariaHolic
- Ha! I love OP! It's the "guitar", I need to make that into an animooted gif. It's about a crossdresser and lesbian BTW, is cynical, and awesome.
Pokemon
- Back in the days before Ash hit puberty and Misty was around.
Onegai My Melody
- I love you Sanrio. I love you Kuromi. Yeah, it's about making peoples dream's come true with magic Hello Kitty style.
Digimon
- Actually the only digimon I really liked was Demi-Devimon + Gazumon. Agumon sucks. Oh yeah, The Japanese Data Squad eps rule. The main char is so macho and is like a Yakuza or something. Yay for subs.
Keroro Gunsou / Sgt. Frog
- I only like the Japanese ones. I hated the English Kero's voice and I still gave it a chance, but once I heard a reference to Diehard that was it. Anime + American pop. culture do not mix very well. This also made me cry, just not in the same way as Stormy Night.
Sengoku Basara
- Sengoku era anime. I love anything that relates to history, even though it's somewhat inaccurate and is exaggerated. Plus Masamune Date's sexy. Eyepatches can make anything sexy.
Havent watched too many to pull out the tops for this topic . Still i love what i watch. Favorites are Bleach , Naruto , Dragon Ballz , Hellsing , Ghost In The Shell Shin Chan and Blood +
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles- Well lets just say, FREAKIN GREAT! Amazing characters, good plot line, great twists, and the action keeps you hooked.
xxxHolic- This series ties in with Tsubasa. You don't have to see both of them, but if you put both together, you get an even deeper understanding of the other, or else I did anyway. o.o
Vampire Knight- Kawaii! These are the hottest vampires ever! And just great overall!
07 Ghost- Oh em gee. I love it, I just love it. Great action.
DN Angel- I love this one too! Daisuke is great and the story is great too. Though With is the cutest :3 even if he is a demon...
Code Breaker- This keeps you on the edge and you never know what might happen next. Story is great. Go Nyanmaru! :3
666 Satan- Amazing. Great story.
Deathnote- this is just so great!
Naruto- it took me a while to get into this actually. But now I'm always anxiously awaiting.
Kingdom Hearts- epic. that's all I have to say.
Trinity Blood- another amazing vampire one.
And that's all I can think of... these aren't really in any order either...
I don't have a static favorites list, so I'll kinda choose and alter at random.
~Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu ~ it's just a high quality show, I love the writing and the situations (some episodes are just comedic gold). It looks great, I love the characters, and the back-and-forth between Kyon and Haruhi is fun to watch. Endless Eight was butt.
~Bokura no ~ a sick twist on the standard mech show premise. Completely not a spoiler, since this happens between episodes one and two. But
a group of middle school kids are tricked into a contract, where they must pilot a giant mech to combat aliens to save the world. It turns out that whoever pilots the mech will die, win or lose. And if the battle isn't completed by a certain time, the world ends.
it's such a bleak atmosphere throughout, a truly great watch. For me anyway.
~Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku ~ somehow even more bleak to me than the previous series. The protaganist is transported to a desolate world, that is undersiege by an insane man with too much power. The world also faces a severe water shortage. I can't explain much of what goes on, but it's a great, short series.
~Yakitate! Ja-pan ~ gotta be one of the goofiest things I have ever watched. A show all about different breads, and bread making competitions. I loved every minute.
~Monster ~ perhaps the best story I've ever seen in an anime. Disgraced, but talented Japanese surgeon falling in over his head as he unravels a massive conspiracy around one man.
~Shoujo Kakumei Utena ~ probably my favorite shoujo anime. I had no clue what was happening throughout, but it was amazing. She turned into a car...
~Princess Tutu ~ what a beastly series. This story is presented as a...story, a fairytale. A little duckling is granted the power to become a human, Princess Tutu, and it's her goal to restore Prince Mute's missing heart. Through dance.
~Shijou no Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi ~ boy wants to become stronger. Boy finds dojo full of masters of many different styles of martial arts. The masters decide they ALL want to teach him their styles. But the boy has zero talent for the art. So he's put through all sorts of hilariously grueling training, and slowly learns what it takes to become strong.
It's a funny show, full of loads of entertaining martial arts fighting. It honestly reminds me of Ranma 1/2, without the sex changing (though arguably, that is what makes Ranma what it is....).
~Berserk ~ simply beastly storytelling. Berserk is awesome. Great combat sequences, great character designs, great twists, worst cliffhanger ever (as in worst way to end a series ever, need to read the manga....). My old roommate had the best reaction to its ending, ever (rage-wise).
~Ippatsu Kikimusume ~ barely counts as even two episodes of standard length anime, if you combine each episode (like five minutes apiece). This is definitely one of the funniest anime I've seen. Each short centers in on this girl, who somehow finds herself in the most critical situations imaginable.
One episode has her in a sauna, and if I remember correctly she's broken all her limbs, and has to figure out a way to open the door with her teeth or something. It's so amazing, when I showed my friends, they all died laughing.

Not in order:
Rurouni Kenshin: Especially season two, when Kenshin goes to Kyoto to fight Shishio.
Sailormoon: all five seasons
Inuyasha: seasons one and two. Gets pointless by season three, unfortunately.
Angelic Layer: all of it
Full Metal Alchemist: all of it
Fruits Basket: all of it
Chobits: all of it
hack/sign: all of it, though it was a tad confusing at times
Slayers: the first series
CardCaptor Sakura: all of it
1. Rurouni Kenshin
2. Ergo Proxy
3. Ghost Hound
4. Trinity Blood
5. Avatar
6. Bleach
7. Naruto Shippuden
8. Full Metal Panic
9. Ghost in the Shell
10. oooh last one, this is hard...hmmmm... any thing by Hayao Miyazaki
oh but there are so many more but Kenshin is #1 on my list, always will be!
Akira- As a child, the most epic "cartoon" I had ever seen. I still called anime cartoons back then.
Death Note- The mental back and forth in this anime is amazing. I don't think I have said "R U Serious?!" more in any other series, movie, etc. Not just talking about anime here.
Full Metal Alchemist- Wonderful story about brotherhood with all the anime elements I like. And the humor in here is silly enough to be funny but not over the top. Fully fleshed out world.
Princess Mononoke- I thought Akira was epic until I saw this flick from Miyuzaki. Great fantasy.
Macross Plus (Movie)- Some of the best artwork for its time. Great music and aerial gunplay. Another one from my past.
Samurai Champloo - A leap forward in art direction and music- fascinating choreography with those two and the fight scenes. Characters are lovable badass and believable.
Claymore- well the first segments of the series. The ending felt rushed, but the dark, emotionless characters and wonderful art and swordplay are top notch.
The Heroic Legend of Prince Arisland - First person here to mention this one? too bad- great series.
Fist of the North Star- man, I really hope they do a decent remake of this classic. Tried watching it again and it is sooo dated. They are making a game though!
Ninja Scroll- Another classic! So many wonderful characters.
