Hi, well to start with, I love music, i listen to it alot on mp3 player etc, but it all started when I tried my grandma's piano.
So, I was at my grandma's, and she had a piano, and I went to try it. I have never taken any music lessons of any musical instruments. Especially piano, but when I was playing with this piano, I managed to play 'Happy Birthday', 'Congratulations' and other simple songs. I also invented my own simple notes. I played by hearing the note I played, and if it wasn't the one I was searching for, I'll try another.
So this was no big deal for me, however, my family were so amazed by this that they told me I have the music talent, to play what i hear. However, i never wanted to take lessons, or learn instruments. I want to have fun playing music freely, for my self-joy, not be filled with rules etc.
Since then, I have been trying various music creating apps on my ipod touch, and on my pc too. I've also managed to make a small song, with trance, piano, and drum beats altogether. I really don't wajt music to take the place of my future ambitions, as I hope to once specialise in computers, and I'm pretty food at the subject. At the same time I feel guilty for 'waisting' this talent. I really like deadmau5 for example, he plays freely, experimenting and his music really sounds right to me. I'm a 14 year old ordinary boy, so what do you suggest I should do?
