I am a 19 year old college student.
I am finishing up my first year, am in great shape, very computer literate, and a Psych major.
I have no criminal record, and do not abuse drugs.
The reason I want to join the Army to be a 68X is because I have a passion to help others, a track record of doing so since I was 15 traveling overseas to volunteer, and because I understand in a sense what its like for our army soldiers to suffer mentally since my brother is on his 2nd tour-- and he's only 22 years old, so we're very close.
I want to make a difference.. I havent found happiness in life yet, and I'm quite confident this is what I'd be best at, excel in, and would make me happy.
Could someone please tell me if 68X is still as in Demand ? I have a 49 ASVAB, but would like to retake it for a higher score + my 30 college credits.
Please share info about this career, side possible duties, etc.
