...counter fell on her...? the motorbike wasn't part of the shop but my sister who's 3 touched the bike and it pushed her forward making her fall face first to the hard ground.

shes bruised on her back and knees (pretty bad bruises if you ask me ) but nothing severe as to go to the doctors.

my mom was with her and the women at the self checking saw but just ignored us nd never said is she ok... none of the staff said anything they jut walked bye.. and she was screaming and screaming and screaming.

my mom rang 2 days ago and got the manager on the phone and rang to complain. he said he didn't hear anything about that but was very sorry to hear and that he would look into it and ring back in an hour.

2 day later and NO phone call

wat do you suggest.. should we let them away with her or press on...?

First off, take some responsibilty here yourself, next time try supervising your child you'll be surprised it really works wonders. Also, maybe they didn't say anything because they saw the situation was handled by you already since you were tending to her and they figured since you weren't complaining right then and there it must of have not been as serious as it looked. Im sure you had plenty of time to complain. There should be no reason why you are suing because you didn't want to take her to the doctor in the first place and you said yourself "...nothing severe as to go to the doctors." I'm no expert on the law and you could sue and you probably could win but it just bothers me how people do not supervise their child and then when something like this happens they want to place blame on others when they were really the ones responsible by letting their child tote about and touch any and everything. I'm sorry for what happened to your little sister but please know people like you who fail to supervise children are just as bad as those who you claim might be at fault.

Press charges!! If your little sister was screaming and got injured its against that store! If she is still bruised up to this day and is not in perfect condition like she was before the accident then i would totally press charges. Thats what i would do.

Well if it wasn't the shops motorbike then it really isn't their problem. Honestly I have worked in a store before and kids touch everything they aren't supposed to and it can be annoying. It isn't a shops employees responsibility to babysit its patrons or their children. It is the parents responsibility to watch their child and tend to them if they cause an injury to themselves. In fact a lot of corporations don't allow employees to administer first aide because people are so sue happy these days. And besides if she didn't hurt herself enough to even go to the doctor then you should be thankful, what do you expect the manager to do? Consider it a lesson for your sister not to touch things that don't belong to her. I hope that doesn't sound rude or mean but its the truth.
