Your Most Hated Song

That's a pretty broad genre to be close-minded about. What's it called, anyways -- alternoprotoprogindie music?

But I don't disagree. People who listen to those genres are such ass-wipes.

See also: "Sure Shot" by Beastie Boys which I used to like until a former roommate of mine started listening to it several times a day for several months.

Well, I've been hitting the clubs around Madchester and Bolton for the last few nights, which in some cases forces some absolutely horrible music on you. Made me think of this thread again...

And for old time's sake...

Just a simple question mate...
I know this is in the appropriate thread, but do you purposely listen to music which you know you're going to dislike? I'm sure you have better things to do than hate, hate and hate all the time.

I agree .. I think it's a great song - and very effective for being so simple.
By the way, isn't it "out of the rain", there? :p

I don't listen to much random music like what you might find on the radio, so I don't really listen to music I don't like. The only time it happens is when there's the commercials for albums on the telly. The worst are those ****ty "hits for KiRAB" albums with their smurf-versions of pop songs along with artists like A-Teens, Tokio Hotel and Basshunter. GoRAB darn, that's some ****ty music .. in my opinion.

I feel a bit guilty about that post as I am a bit each to there own most of the time.

But coming to my journal soon a musical travelogue through all things New Zealand. From the Able Tasmans to Toy Love and lots in between.

Isn’t that wonderful ~ no matter how bad the band and their music, they always manage to come up with ONE unbelievably fab song. (Part of why i like songs, rather than banRAB/artists).

Would you sing about diseraboweling babies, raping young girls or beheading someone and bowling with the head ~ for a buck?

Me, either...

I think appalling is a little strong. Sure it is overwrought, ridiculously borabastic and OTT but they at least they subverted the classic pop song structure. I myself am not a huge fan but it is far from appalling. Annoying, overplayed and overhyped-definitely. Appalling. Sorry I can't agree.

Reverend Green ruins that album for me. Especially the part where he repeats "FOR REVEREND GREEN" over and over again.

Isn;t the correct term 'celesbians'?

Actually all this celebrity bi-curiousity just makes me think of the hilarious song by the Bloodhound Gang 'I wish I Was Queer So I COuld et Chicks'!
