Your most EMOTIONAL Movie Moment

That was going to be my quote!!!

Especially when "Joe" walks back over the bridge and she says to him "I wish you could have known my father"....!!!

Gets me every time!

I love the scene in the Sixth Sense when the son and mother are stuck in traffic after the fatal crash with the cyclise and the son gives his mum the message from her deceased mother about the dance recital and that she makes her proud...I well up every time without fail

Scene in Home Alone where that old man talks to Kevin in the church about the situation with him and his family.

I always feel like crying when i see that scene.

That still gets me:cry: have to look out my vhs and watch it again, went with frienRAB to see that, all of us laRAB were crying at that point, lot all respect from the girlfriend.

Armageddon got me the first time, when he was talking to his daughter for the final time, had it on dvd, had to walk out the room pretend i need toilet as bother in law was watching it as well.

The bit between Pippin and Merry in Lord of the Rings (Return of the King) where Pippin asks if he'll ever see Merry again.
When Merry says 'I don't know what's going to happen' there's that little catch in his voice that just makes me fill up with tears.

Green Mile made me cry buckets as well. :(

Bambi, when his mother was shot ... and he was running around crying, "Mother" *sob*

'Sophie's Choice'
She had to choose which one of her children should live ..
Could never watch it again.

Yep it was an incredible moment. I always get chills when Darth's mask is first put on and there's a momentary pause before he takes his first infamous breath. Then seeing him and the Emperor looking up at the Death Star being built makes you think about the story ahead of them.

Billy Elliot
Devil wears prada - for some reason when they are entering paris
Braveheart - when he shouts freedom
and Gladiater- when he is walking throu the feild of lavender

Yep that one got to me too....I found myself urging the passengers to hurry up despite knowing what the outcome was going to be....It made me feel kind of guilty that you were watching these people's deaths and there was nothing you could do about it! weird.

I assume it is the remake with Denzel Washington to which you refer, the manner in which Pita broke down Creasey's defences is very touching.

Lots of the films and scenes that cause me to the rub at some non existent dust in my eye have already been mentioned one that has not been mentioned is Shenandoah, final scene when the family are in church and the youngest son returns home.

I know its a bit Cheesy but I do like the final scene in Dead Poets when the boys stand on the desks.

Ghost always maked me shed a tear.

I also find Once Upon A Time In America very emotional.

Like others here, I also found the end of Revenge of the Sith quite emotional, probably from Order 66 onwarRAB. I was finally seeing on screen something which I had only been able to imagine for many many years. The overall prequel trilogy was a massive let down but the last hour or so of Sith does mean a lot to me.

I always used to sob at the end of Sense and Sensibility when she realised she could have Edward after all
HOWEVER
I think it was in the Xmas episode of Vicar of Dibley, Geraldine took the mick out of it and that emotional moment has been ruined for me forever and now it just makes me laugh!!
