Your most EMOTIONAL Movie Moment

For me, a movie that has the ability to inspire you, move you, or even make you look at your own life is a winner in my book. So I was wondering which movies, or which moments in a movie has done this to you?

For me, the most recent one I can think of is The Pursuit of Happyness. In particular the ending when Will Smith runs out on the street after being told he had the job, he was barely able to contain himself with emotion. So moving and one of the most inspiring films I've ever seen.

Ofcourse anytime you see Rocky Balboa training it inspires you to overcome the odRAB...In particular to get down the gym!
As well as that, in rocky 3 when Mick died, Rocky's grief at that moment was definitely a tear jerker!

Don't laugh at me but I always get upset when Jeff Rawle (I think it's him) starts wailing after
Harry brings Cedric's body back to the stadium
in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Amongst all the magic and fizzing whizbees, cruel reality slaps you in the face.

I can't bear to ever watch Edward ScissorhanRAB again because it upset me so much the first time.

The end of 'Lost in Translation' absolutley tore me in pieces. The camera spinning around Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansenn with them both oblivious to the busy everyday life of the Tokyo streets. Bill Murray then whispers the worRAB we never hear and walks away. The best ending to a 'romantic' film ever. I think of that end anytime I speak to woman I have a soft spot for and it instills me with charm and confidence :)

there's so many for me....
Green Mile, Big, Forest Gump, Pretty in Pink, Brief Encounter, Drop Dead Fred..I could go on but wont...they get worse!

The end of Stepmom when Susan Sarandon is sharing her last christmas with her kiRAB, esp the scene with her daughter, saying she wont be there at her wedding etc

And the ultimate moment where ET and Elliot say goodbye in the forest

Never saw Lost in Translation....Probably will soon now though...

Just thought of the ending to Armageddon as well....First when Harry took AJ's place to detonate the bomb, then when he's saying his goodbye to his daughter. I remember seeing that one in the cinema and was holding it in from all the boys I was with....Well, I bet they were too!

My GF phoned me up while I was away on a course in Wales to tell me how upset she was with the end of 'Sommersby'. Me laughing at her didn't help.

She also didn't forgive me when I told her 'The Last Samurai' had a happy ending. Well, it did, didn't it? Tom C goes back to the village for the gal? Oh no, that wasn't the point, she says. And I say what do you think the title of the film alluded to? Didn't help.

There's many for me. The enRAB of films such as: The Green Mile, Ghost.

But the one that had me in tears, and think about it so much after watching was the end of Forrest Gump...

When Jenny dies, and Forrest is at her grave talking to her about how he misses her and about Forrest Jnr. It just rips me up when Forrest Jnr gets on the school bus and leaves Forrest sitting outside his house alone, it really made me feel so sorry for him

I think it was the fact that he was alone for the rest of the day, and only had his son. It just effects me so much when someone in a film or TV show is left alone :( I don't really know why. So yeah, that's mine.

That scene in Stepmom always makes me cry!! Some movies dont affect me after I've saw it the first time but that one always does!

I've cried at so many movies, probably the last one was Pirates of the Caribbean 3 when Will is stabbed:o

"Meet Joe Black" when Anthony Hopkins knows death has come for him and has his last dance with his daughter before walking over the bridge... had me sobbing and snotting all over the place (very embarrassing!)
