Your long lost obscure movies

The one that I always remember that i loved when i saw it on BBC2 many years ago is paperhouse, It must be obscure as when ever I mention it to anyone, nobody as ever heard of it.
I cant even remember the whole plot now but the title always sticks out in my mind, I have found it on the IMDB and would love to see it again one day. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098061/ I will probably find it terrible if I ever do though.

The early Pam Grier stuff (sexploitation pics)- 'The Big Bird Cage', 'The Big Doll House', 'The Arena' and 'Women in Cages' and the later Pam Grier (blaxploitation pics) - 'Black Mama, White Mama', 'Foxy Brown', Sheba, Baby' and 'Coffy' and not forgetting 'Scream Blacula, Scream!'

If you're just getting into Pam then I'd recommend either 'Coffy', or 'Foxy Brown'. Whilst they both have that mix of 'sex' and 'soul' they're also pretty damn good classic movies.

"The Bandit", an award winning Brazilian film from the 50s.
Love and violence in the Brazilian jungle.
"When Strangers Marry", Mitcham's first film, excellent.
"The Well", Mob violence in small town America.
I've not seen any of these for many years.

amazon women on the moon - i've only seen it once on tv, amazing it's not been shown again

FREEBIE AND THE BEAN - one of my favs and damn funny too!!! taped it the first time it was on bbc2 and the damn tape ended five minutes before the END!!!!!!! AARRGGHH

how about COLDBLOODED, a really funny jason priestly movie shown late night on channel4 ..... but not since!

There are loaRAB of long lost obscure movies that I love, many of which I can't even remember the names of.

It's hard to classify whether a film is obscure or not anymore. With the advent of DVD and the internet it seems there are very few movies left that you can't get hold of (huzzah!).

Perhaps my best loved, yet most obscure favourite is Hell Comes to Frogtown (1987) with ex-wrestling guru Roddy Piper. Laughably bad, but strangely brilliant.

Oooh - I love this one too; I've seen it a couple of times just recently...

Obscure films I remember from my childhood but have never heard of since;

- Dirty Dozen type war film starring William Shatner
- Film about a crashed plane (again WW2) with the crew waiting to be rescued.

However it turns out they all died in the plane crash and are ghosts. As the bodies are found they "disappear" from the other ghosts. I think there is one guy left at the end whose body is never found.

Also is La Cabina, the one that enRAB with

The phonebox being towed away and then left in a huge warehouse full of other phoneboxes (with skeletons in)

I'd like to see 'The Love War' again...an early seventies sci-fi starring Lloyd Bridges

There's also quite a few US features from the 70s for some reason that are never released here. I want to see Scarecrow, I think its called. A mid-70s road movie starring Al Pacino and Gene Hackman. Two big stars like that on what's probably a low budget feature, but never mentioned anywhere...
Anyone here seen it or got any background knowledge, I'd appreciate it...

S-S-S-S-S-S-S-S

starring Dirk Benedict as a man who turns into a snake. I saw it on telly when I was about six and it scared me shitless for the rest of my life. Then I managed to get hold of a copy on DVD. It was a really crappy film but at least I stopped having nightmares about it.
