Your First Rock Album

I was given all my albums as gifts up until I was about 13. I bought Nirvana In Utero with some birthday money...way back in 1993, shortly after it was released! I skipped class and went downtown to buy it at this store called Turk's.

In 1997 I Bought a used Mother single by Danzig. From there on it was IV by Zep and then I bought Time Out of Mind by Dylan. Ive never put that Cd down. I'm just now collecting all of the Dylan Vinyls.

anything that gets you out of the boy band phase is A-ok in my books.

I liked that album but one of my old roommates "borrowed" it indefinitely

First rock album GIVEN to me (I want it clearly noted I did not buy it): Bon Jovi, Cross Road

First album I BOUGHT: Aerosmith, Toys in the attic

In my previous post that you quoted, please show me precisely where I ridiculed or disrespected him in any way.

He posted some incorrect info, then I posted the correct info. All without any smartass remarks or goofy smilies.

I had older siblings and listened to many of their albums. I can't remeraber the first but I always listened to Aerosmith, Elton John, CCR, Eagles, etc.. My first actual purchase for myself was a Foreigner album. I also got all the 45 rpm hand-me-downs from my the local skating rink, I kind of grew up on 60's and early 70's top 40 as well as the B Sides.

B-Sides...now that's another subject...(I always liked the Beatles B-Sides)

First rock cassette tape I ever listened too was Aerosmith Toys in the Attic. I was 7 and never looked back lol. Can't remeraber my first album I bought, I was always burning my frienRAB cd's, Didn't start buying heavily till a few yrs ago, started getting old blues albums and up an coming rock artists.
