first bike was a black bonnie.
When i was a about eight my dad bought some jap sports bike for bout two hundred bucks because it didnt work. Two hours later he had it running pretty smooth took me for a ride up the street then got yelled at by my ma. Fast forward about 11 yrs later I was buying my Bonnie.
Damn I love my bike

Wow, yet again i feel extremely noobish.

Well, although my sig says it all, my SV was good to me (aside from that accident that i honeslty don't remember), but still a great beginner's bike

An addition is that my SV was fully-faired and man it was a sight to see .

Not mine pictured below, but you get the idea:

Same, thats why I'm deciding to come back to twins. I had such a good experience on my first one

Funny, my first riding buddy had a burgundy 1st gen sv.....man he loved that machine. We used to ride all over sacramento, roseville and folsom...those were some fun times.

In 1971, my dad bought me a brand new Yamah Mini-Enduro, my mom a brand new Yamaha 125, and himself a brand new Bultaco 250 ISDT Matador.

After I outgrew the Mini-Enduo, I moved over to the 125, and ultimately, graduated to the Bultaco.

Here's a pic of a '71 Mini Enduro. This isn't mine, but it looks the same.

oh snap!, i forgot all about that bike...yeh that bike was a beast, looked good as well.

Hmmm, makes me wonder why the canned it. I know alot of people that had nothing but good things to say about that bike.

Here is my first own bike. I bought it from a college kid in 2000, it's a 98 ZX-9R. It only had 4k miles on it. It was my only transportation for a year almost and I sold it and got a gsx-r 750 brand new one.

1969 Triumph Daytona 500. It was TT'd out and I took it back to stock from the ground up. Still have it and have only put about 75 miles on it since I did the ground up resto about 5 years ago.

Same as Ducster, here, but in evil Black. CB160 in "street"version. The CL was real sportster version..had "up pipes".

Rode the hell out of that, (as I recall!).. and carried it back and forth to my university in the trunk of my car...but thats another story...
