Your First Anime?

i started off with candy candy, sailormoon and dragonball.. all dubbed in greek but it wasn't that bad.. i'd wake up around 8am so i'd watch them.. gotta luv the eternal re-runs over here... :P
 
Voltes V and Daimos- I'm still a grade schooler during those times (it's like 10-15 years ago)

But my addiction began during the YuYu Hakusho, Dragon Ball Z , BT'X and Zenki Era (these series were shown in our place with close intervals)

Case Closed will always be my favorite anime....
 
Back when I was a kid it had been Gundam Wing, DBZ and Rurouni Kenshin.

In the end it was Rurouni Kenshin that got me hooked at a later age though.
 
My cherry popper was Mobile Suit Gundam... I was about 5 I think. Maybe a bit younger than that. It was on some fuzzy channel and it was in Japanese, but it looked pretty badass to me as a kid... So I watched it every week. Then I got a bit older, and caught Akira, Sailor Moon, DBZ, etc... You know, all the stuff that was available at the time. ^.^

I can't remember what manga was my first, though... I know I borrowed some from a friend. >.>
 
baack before i knew what ANIME meant i watched DBZ, Pokemon, Digimon, and Yu-gi-oh
but the thing that REALLY got me into anime was

Naruto

without it no VIZ or seinen would have ever been known to me
