Oh god, am emotional wreck. Just watched Stepmom for the umpteenth time.

I love/hate this film. It's so well acted and so, so sad. I just love watching it but know I'll be in bits at the end.

I also feel the same about Steel Magnolias.

What are your top sad films?

The Green Mile (sobbed when i read the book, and sobbed when i watched the film)

Steel Magnolias, another tear jerker along with Terms of Endearment
Marley & Me, reminRAB me too much of my own dog....
Forrest Gump, the whole Jenny thing makes me cry...there are so many films i cry at nowadays, it must be my age lol :D

Dancer In The Dark.

I watched this because I am a big Bjork fan and I was suspicious because musicians becoming actors and vice-versa is not always a good thing, but I was surprised at how emotional it made me. It's actually a really good film in that sense but I won't watch if if I am feeling down because it's too emotional.

There's a few I blub at, I really am an emotional wreck at films!!

Off the top of my head

The Champ - "wake up champ!"
Hachi - A Dog's Tale - Watched this recently, blubbed like a baby!!
Ghost - Cheesy I know :o but do love the film.
The Green Mile - what a state I was coming out of the cinema!! Fantastic film
Sophie's Choice - my god, Meryl Streep was fantastic in this film, rumour has it she was only able to do one take of that scene as it was so heartbreaking

Editedto add "It's a wonderful life"

Another vote for The Champ :D

ShadowlanRAB - the whole cinema audience sat there sniffling till after the credits had finished

Stepmom definately gets me every time, I love that film

Other good ones that have me in tears are; Ghost, Beaches, Marley & Me, My Sister's keeper(now that is a weepie!)... and even E.T:o

So many but to mention a few

The Green Mile
Terms of Endearment
The Last Snows of Spring
Last Moments
The Butterfly Effect ( Directors Cut even sadder )
