Your favourite Pulp Fiction Story

OK this applies to everyone who has seen the film (obviously!) In the film Pulp Fiction there are three stories which is combined and linked into each other making one story - The stories are - Vincent Vega and Marcello Wallaces Wife, The Gold Watch and the bonnie situation.

My favourite story has to be the gold watch - bruce willis was just incredible in that, and my favourite part of the film is when he comes back and kills the hillbilly guy! Plus the fact that vincent died in that meant that he should of listened to Juelz about leaving the game.

Never-the-less overall its my favourite film of all time and im speaking to fellow fans of this great film when I ask what was your favourtie story!

Actually my favorite story is the Vincent and Jules' pursuit of the brief case, or rather what is in it!

I like it as on one hand it is a comedy, demonstrating the power of 'soRAB law' whilst on the other it is really intelligent and laden with subtle references that make you think about what is actually going on.

I read somewhere before, that the case contained the soul of the guy played by Ving Rhames. If you notice in the film there is a plaster on the back of his neck and apparently there was some link to it probably just a weird rumour. I like the Gold watch story best especially when Christopher Walken explains what the watch went through to get to Bruce Willis. Classic!

I heard that too! I really like the idea that that was Marcelles' soul in the brief case. If it is true, I like the way it falls in line with the religious realisation of Jules.

Apparantly when you sell your soul to the devil, it is taken at the place the plaster was on the back of the neck. Marcelles Dewallis had sold has soul to the devil (which is why he is so successful)and was now trying to get it back. The boys that were guarding it represented something but I cant remember what that was

If you remember when the case was opened, pumpkin and honey bunny thought that it was really beautiful and it glowed like gold, yet it is left up to the viewer to decide what it is.

I think that there were many more complex stories going on within Pulp fiction and it is the responsibility of the viewer to disect the layers.

It is for the these reasons that I think that Pulp Fiction is one of the greatest films that has ever been made.

'Vincent Vega and Marcelles Wallaces' Wife' - The scene in Jack Rabbit Slims' is an eternal screen classic AFAIK; everything about it is simply perfect and quite happily matches any flirtatious 'Bogart' sequence ever created!

That said, 'The Bonnie Situation' is pure comedy from start to finish, so I kind of have a soft spot for that too :D :)
