Your Favourite Main Credit Sequences

My favourite ending is Lord of the Rings The Two Towers, when the camera pans upwarRAB from Bilbo, Sam and Golum, over the mountains to reveal Mount doom in the distance. Fantastic Moment and at the time made your mouth water for ROTK.

Always makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up

Irreversible - The credits (the ones you usually see at the end of films) not only start at the beginning of the film but they start backwarRAB too, scrolling from bottom to top instead of top to bottom.

Any film which uses in-film props to place the credits on too. An example would be School of Rock.

I enjoyed Napoleon Dynamite but the credits made me feel so weird. I can't even really explain it, but they made me feel kind of ill.

I liked the openings on the Austin Powers films, The Royal Tenenbaums, Sin City and Kill Bill. Probably loaRAB of others as well, but I can't remember right now.

I like the opening sequence to both ''Spider-Man'' films. Especially the first, which is a stunning re-creation of the original comic book artwork. The second film has a slightly more serious, moody sequence which sets the tone for the film itself perfectly. Both have been very well done.

Monty Python's Holy Grail. Just the whole bit about "the man who sacked the man who has been sacked has now been sacked" routine, and all the little credits for moose hairdressers and suchlike, ending in the Mexican Mariachi knees-up.

Austin Powers has some great ones with the dance routines etc..

I also liked the movie Spaceballs where it shows that spaceship going on forever and ever...

Geez! I've been beaten to the punch! Yeah I'd say Superman, Blues Brothers, Predator, Star Wars.
Also Touch of Evil.

And just for sheer class AND setting the scene... The Player
