Your FAVOURITE christmas movies of all time thread.

Home Alone 1 & 2
Die Hard 1 & 2
Holiday Affair [original with Janet Leigh]
Gremlins
Scrooged
Scrooge
It's a Wonderful Life
Polar Express
Deck the Halls
The Santa Clause
Reindeer Deer Games
A Christmas Story
Grinch
Miracle on 34th Street [l prefer the original, but the remake was ok too]
Christmas Vacation

Scrooge (1970 musical version with Albert Finney)
Home Alone (1 and 2)
Miracle on 34th Street
It's a Wonderful Life
National Lampoon Christmas Vacation
Muppet's Christmas Carol

There are only two christmas films I watch every year at that time:

Scrooge (1951)

and

It's A Wonderful Life.

But, must admit I also like

One Magic Christmas starring Mary Steenburgen.

The plot is loosely based on It's A Wonderful Life as well. I have a copy on DVD, but I bet it's on somewhere over Christmas.

Comfort And Joy.

The Bill Forsyth film about ice-cream wars, starring Bill Paterson, that is. Apparently there's a sentimental American film of the same name.

Miracle on 34th Street (both versions but at a push I prefer the remake simply because Richard Attenborough just is Santa Claus to me)
Santa Claus: The Movie
Home Alone 1 & 2
It's a Wonderful Life

I always hated The Snowman but I might try and give it another shot this year.

Home Alone
Elf (think this is my favourite ever xmas movie)
Miracle on 34th Street (the newer version)
Jingle all the way

I actually like some of the lifetime/hallmark type christmas movies
