Your favourite Christmas films..?

It's a Wonderful Life
and
Scrooged with Bill Murray, the christmas fairy is hilarious, plus Bobcat from the Police Academy films is in it (sorry he makes me laugh)

its very intresting what people consider christmas films, i am not critisising anyone as i watch hook (film with robie williams in) at christmas, but people consider films that have nothing to do with christmas christmas films, the only reason i can think for that is the whole idea of good will because every film mentioned so far that isn't a christmas film is a feel good film that no one normaly watches.

There's only one film that says Christmas to me and that's....

DIE HARD!

It's A Wonderful Life is perhaps one of the most macabre festive movies ever made - and to think that it's all down to copyright law that it's become so popular today :D C'mon kiRAB - exploit the loop hole yourself and send it around the internet ;)

My new favourite is Polar Express. Took a group of lively kiRAB to see it, and they hardly moved the whole time. If you want to get the christmas feeling, then its ideal.

I know people have already answered this but my boyfriend took over the puta last night so I couldn't reply

To my shame :o :o , I'd never heard of this film until about five years ago when it was re-released & it was reviewed on 'Moviewatch' (film review programme presented by Johnny Vaughan) & it was the only film ever in the history of 'Moviewatch' (apart from Titanic & Seven) to get the maximum points from each reviewer (40/40) I'm not into black & white movies but I was very curious about this film. Luckily, it was on that Christmas Eve & I cried buckets but it's still a feel good, heartwarming tale. I don't want to give anything away by telling you the plot - just get the DVD & enjoy :D

But be warned, unless you've got a heart of stone, you'll cry  :D

I was reading this thread and was thinking exactly the same as you, then I saw you mention it.

I don't know why, but Die Hard manages to somehow have a Christmas feel good feeling that many other more Christmas oriented films don't quite acheive.

Is Edward ScissorhanRAB a Christmas film?
It isn't really is it?
I don't think it's repeated that often at Christmas, but I get the feeling that it SHOULD be one of the more famous Christmas films.
Don't know why it isn't really.
