Your Favorite Superhero Movie?

The first Christopher Reeve Superman: witty, charming, spectacular and no annoying teenagers. Plus one of Gene Hackman's best ever performances as Lex Luthor. :cool:

Wooden spoon: a tie between Superman IV and the original Fantastic Four, possibly two of the worst films in history not starring Patrick Bergin. :eek:
 
MMMMMMMMM with the current crop i am actually liking alot of them equally.

Fantastic 4 was pretty good as was Batman Begins, I was never fussed on Spiderman and the X Men movies were excellent but Hellboy was great too!!!!!
 
Not sure if its really "superhero" but it was/is comic book.
Blade (any of them) cant beat them in my mind. Hellboy punicher and supermans also very good

cant wait for the spiderman 3 film next year though!

heard on another forum though that sarah michelle gellar is playing wonder woman. i like smg as an actress so i wouldnt mind seeing that if its true, but id have thought she wouldnt be "big" enough to fill the outfit. shes quite skinny compared to the one from the 70s
 
superman I and II equally, i'm always changing my mind. remember the spiderman film from years and years ago? when I was a kid my granny had it on VHS, i think she taped it from TV.......
 
I must be the only person who thought that Spiderman 2 was very average!
My favourite superhero film is Batman Begins closly followed by Spiderman, X Men 1 and 2 also Hellboy. Also Superman 1 and 2 were classics and also Batman is a great film as well!
It is very hard to choose as there has been so many great comic book films!
 
Defintely SuperSolider. I bet nobody's heard of it but it IS brilliant. It was very low-budget but it had a fantastic story which didnt really need the big special effects.

It was a good few years ago that I watched it but from what I remember the story was about a solider who was given superstrength from some evil genius's machine. He was meant to be used for evil purposes but he escaped and decided to use his powers for the greater good.

We see him get used to his powers and thwarting several small crimes as the SuperSoldier. We also see the relationship with his wife go through some problems, and they have a massive row. Our hero storms out, and whilst he is gone the wife is kidnapped by the evil genius to lure SS back. He comes to the rescue and defeats the bad guys, but not before his dear wife is killed...
