Your favorite Scooby DTV and why?

After reading a bit of the topic where everyone discussed whether or not what's canon to the Scoobyverse timeline, I wanted to ask you guys what your favorite Scooby DTV was and why you considered it as such.

My personal favorite of the Scooby DTVs is Zombie Island. The animation still holds up very well, and I enjoyed the fact that the writers attempted to flesh out the Gang beyond their archetypes and poke fun at some of the stuff featured on the original show (ie, people running around in masks). Some of the jokes were genuinely funny and witty as well. All in all, I'd reccomend it to any veteran Scooby-Doo fan and an introduction for newcomers.

What's your favorite?

I have to go with The Witch's Ghost. Not only does it give Scooby & the gang a credible threat for the finale, but it also has the awesomeness that is Tim Curry and Tress MacNeille as the main villains. Plus it also gives a good part of the spotlight to Velma, who rarely gets a piece of the main plot.

Zombie Island is my second choice for the reasons you mentioned.

The Goblin King gets an honorable mention because it was just a flat out awesome adventure with another genuine threat that didn't involve a man in a mask, with more Tim Curry awesomeness.

My favorite Scooby Doo DTV is also Zombie Island. This movie got me watching Scooby again for the first time in years. I loved the fact that for the first time the monsters were real. I also really enjoyed the music, with "Terror Time" and the remix of the classic "Scooby Doo: Where Are You," theme being my favorite songs.

I'd definitely agree with Zombie Island

I haven't seen it in a while, but I loved it as a kid, it even scared me a bit! I loved the setting, too.

Next I'd probably say Cyber Chase. I liked all the different places and settings they visited, and I had nightmares about the main villain. (Again, this was a while ago.. hah)

Lastly, it'd be The Witch's Ghost. I liked the side characters and the story itself.

I haven't seen any of these in a while so I don't know if they'd still hold up but back a while ago those were my top favorites. :p

Zombie Island had to be my all time favorite.
Every thing about it was epic, the music, the villains.
Even the animation was beyound what it normally is for Scooby-Doo.
I also liked and the Goblin King that was a fun one of the newer ones.
And Scooby-Doo and the Samuri Sword. That was very different for a Scooby film. Over all, never been a Scooby film I haven't enjoyed :p

Yeah Zombie Island is my favorite too. It had good animation and it was the first Scooby-Doo movie to have all of Mysteries Inc in it (I think). I liked all of the late '90's/early 2000's DTV movies.

zombie island is my favorite. i thought it was amazing to learn that the zombies werent the bad guys. that blew my mind as a kid. i also really enjoyed the most recent one, abracadabra doo.

I have only seen a couple of the Scooby DTVs, but I'd definitely say Zombie Island is my favorite, as well. I love how the movie poked fun at some of the stereotypes from the show, such as Shaggy opening his closet to contemplate what to wear to dinner, and you see all he's got are a ton of green shirts, haha!

Scooby Doo On Zombie Island is definitely my favorite, and when I saw it is a kid it got me addicted to Scooby. I look back on it and love how dark and supernatural it is. I like it when the monsters are real! :D

*gears turn slowly*

You mean... what's his name... was Tim Curry? ...wow. Not sure how I missed THAT! No wonder I've always loved that character.

I'd put Zombie Island in first, Witch's Ghost in second... and I only watched Alien Invaders and Cyber Chase after that, neither of which I've really enjoyed. Zombie Island is just... it's like, that's how modern Scooby-Doo should be. Real mystery, scary and just a tad grotesque, but not to the point of being kid unfriendly. Well written characters, interesting plot, and the music isn't bad, either. Same goes for Witch's Ghost. From what I've seen of the later DTVs, which to be fair isn't much, they feel more like long episodes rather than feature films... which is why they don't have as much of an impact. When you see Zombie Island, it's, like, theatre quality stuff. I'd love to see it on the silver screen, actually, now that I think of it...

For me it's Zombie Island, for the same reasons mentioned above. It was well animated and paced, with a genuinely scary premise and good character development.

I considered this entire franchise a joke before watching Zombie Island, and the only thing that's even begun to live up to that film is the current series.
