Romantic Comedies are a staple. Heck, I'll admit here to STILL getting all sentimental when the two lovers finally get together, and getting frustrated when the universe conspires to keep them apart until it looks hopeless (well, if we didn't know better, that is).
One of my favorite Rom Coms is The Wedding Planner. I know, I know, but I LOVE it. One of my favorite moments is when Mary and Steve are dancing on the park the first time and she asks him where he learned to dance. He answers he took ballroom (if I remember correctly) and she says, "Oh, so you're gay", and he replies, "The gayest..." I always go back and watch that scene a few times because their deliveries are so charming and slow like they're falling in love while talking to each other. :sigh:
You've Got Mail has so many, I couldn't list them all. But the scene near the end when Joe is telling Kathleen how their life would be like if they were a couple. :thud: Also, the very ending when she finally gets to the face of the mysterious stranger, obviously Joe, and she starts crying when she sees him, "I was hoping it'd be you" - "Don't cry, Shopgirl." OMG. :bawl: I'm a mess just thinking about it!
