That moment from The Wedding Singer always gets to me. I always smile so widely because of Julia, but my heart's also breaking for Robbie.

27 Dresses... the Benny and the Jets scene with Kevin and Jane. Freaking love that scene. Also, when Kevin is taking Jane's picture in her various bridesmaid's dresses. And of course, the end. I just love that movie!

My absolute favorite scene is in the Wedding Singer.

When Julia is upstairs in her house saying her name into the mirror-dressed in her wedding gown. And when she says her name as Julia Goolia (Spelling?) she bursts into tears, but when she tries out Julia Hart--"Mrs. Robbie Hart", etc. She has the biggest smile on her face. But she doesn't know that Robbie is down on the street below and he thinks she is smiling because of her fiance.

It's just a perfectly filmed and acted scene. Breaks your heart that he couldn't hear what she was saying upstairs.

The lighthouse scene from The Majestic is another all-time favorite romantic moment for me. I know that's not actually a romcom, but still...it's utter love! :sigh:

Great idea for a thread! :D

I love romcoms, and I love re-watching my favorite moments/scenes over and over again on DVD.

I have quite the list of favorite moments from various movies, but an all-time favorite, if not my actuall all-time favorite, romcom scene/moment is...

The card/doorway scene from Love Actually between Mark/Juliet. Obvious, I know, but I don't care. I can watch that scene on an endless loop without getting bored or sick of it. That moment is such love!!! :sigh::thud::love:

It's not know really as a rom com but my absolutely favorite moment when a couple gets together is in Bambi, when Thumper gets twitterpated and the girl-rabbit strokes his ears and his foot thumps really quickly :sigh: Such cuteness :D

Aww, i so need to watch it again now lol

I love Sleepless In Seattle, where they both say 'Magic' together - whilst he is on the phone and she is listening to him on the radio

And how Sam looks at Annie when she first enters the airport and then the hello across the road and then the ending at the Empire State building the whole scene and in particular Sam offering his hand, 'shall we'

Romantic Comedies are a staple. Heck, I'll admit here to STILL getting all sentimental when the two lovers finally get together, and getting frustrated when the universe conspires to keep them apart until it looks hopeless (well, if we didn't know better, that is).

One of my favorite Rom Coms is The Wedding Planner. I know, I know, but I LOVE it. One of my favorite moments is when Mary and Steve are dancing on the park the first time and she asks him where he learned to dance. He answers he took ballroom (if I remember correctly) and she says, "Oh, so you're gay", and he replies, "The gayest..." I always go back and watch that scene a few times because their deliveries are so charming and slow like they're falling in love while talking to each other. :sigh:

You've Got Mail has so many, I couldn't list them all. But the scene near the end when Joe is telling Kathleen how their life would be like if they were a couple. :thud: Also, the very ending when she finally gets to the face of the mysterious stranger, obviously Joe, and she starts crying when she sees him, "I was hoping it'd be you" - "Don't cry, Shopgirl." OMG. :bawl: I'm a mess just thinking about it!
