Your favorite funny moments in cartoons?

I have a couple.

* The entirety of "Child Fearing" from the Powerpuff Girls. After seeing my least favorite episode (Town and Out) for the first time, this practially madae me forget about ever seeing it. The girls torturing Mojo Jojo the whole time, Mojo going all Iron Chef when he cooks (And the girls getting disgusted), him telling him the story of Napoleon wrong and the girls correcting him, whacking him with pillows all the while, and when he finally calls the police to take him to jail, the girls get in a few last punches in on him. I couldn't stop laughing at it, it was so hilarious.

Oh, AND IT HAS THE MAYOR KILLING HIS OWN FAIRY IN ZELDA!!! That just set the tone for what was to be my favorite PPG episode to this day. When I showed my cousin that part, he was dying of laughter. I need to remind myself to get the complete PPG Series on DVD.

* Practically all of Pucca, especially when I first saw it. Some favorite highlights include Puccahontas, where she smothers poor Garunimo inside the tent, that Texan couple with the Transformers styled mecha in Sooga Size Me, Pucca dragging Garu back to that romantic movie and tying him up in the film reel at the end of Matinee Mayhem, and Hooray for Bollywood with that musical number at the end. I don't think I'm ever going to find a cartoon as funny as that again for a long time.

Personally, (although that is a great episode) my favorite PPG episode HAS to be bubblevicious. I mean seeing "cute little bubbles" become a "hardcore" heroine that goes solo and not only beats up an innocent talking dog for driving a car, a beatnik fellow for missing a trash can with garbage, and some dude for stepping on grass with a "no stepping on grass" sign posted; but ALSO beats the ever loving hell out of mojo jojo by HERSELF!

That, is the best episode IMO ever.

Funniest moment of that episode? Mojo zapping the girls from behind with a lazer, and like you see bubbles turn around with this PISSED OFF look on her face, and the other two are looking like "oh *****, here we go!" and then she goes and starts slapping the crap outta him as the episode ends, and is like BAD MOJO! BAD MOJO! I mean i laughed my ass off on that.

Other funny moments in animation?

Seeing a black elmer fudd literally PLUNGING bugs bunny out of his rabbit hole with a plunger.

This needs a little more love, I'll add more...maybe I should've renamed this favorite cartoon episodes...

* The chase scene in the Spongebob episode "Texas." I don't really like Spongebob and find him overrated, but this was funny. It helps that chase scenes make me laugh.

* And from the same cartoon, Pre-Hibernation Week. Made even funnier when Spongebob hides from her and she basically forces all of Bikini Bottom to look for him.

* The gigglepies from So Totally Spaced Out in The Fairly Odd Parents. They should've made a return at some point, but the series got worse over time and I only watched it occasionally.

* After Dave in Dave the Barbarian does another bird Call in "The Way of the Dave", Lula says this line... "Again with the birds?" Just the way she said it made me laugh everytime. :D

* And finally, the Peanut Chicken (Baljeet makes a chicken out of airline peanuts) from the Phineas and Ferb episode De Plane! De Plane! The fact that Buford fell for it and his comment "You survive...for now..." was priceless, not to mention that jingle that played during that time... Snicker...

While pretty much the entire series was great, there was one moment in Beetlejuice: TAS that really floored me:

After hosting a failed dating show, (I think that's what it was) the network fires him by showing him an escape clause in the contract. What we see then is a rope flying out of the contract, and then Santa Claus climbing down said rope and making a break for it. That joke caught me completely off guard.

I was just watching 'The Night of the Weremole' episode of Courage, which happens to be my favourite due to how hillarious it is. The most priceless scene, imo, is as follows;

Doctor Vindaloo asks Muriel to open her mouth and say 'Ahh'. She complies by opening her mouth, loaded with sharp fangs, to epic proportions, before clamping it down on him and flailing him around violently.
Courage is flabbergasted.
She then spits Vindaloo up (who hastily crawls away in hillarious fashion) and suddenly sprouts sharp claws, begins roaring ferociously and burrows through the floor boards.
Slumped up against the wall, Dr. Vindaloo announces 'That is the worst case of Chicken Pox I have ever seen'

And thus, I cracked up.

Speaking of that episode;

'Wait! I'm not a moose! I'm a pig wearing an origami hat with antlers!"
"Yeeeah, yeah. I wish I had a nickel for every time I've heard THAT one!"

I just remebered two funny moments from other bugs bunny cartoons.

one is from DUCK! RABBIT! DUCK! where after being blasted so many times daffy is all...well actually the WHOLE CARTOON is full of funny moments. Too many to name really.

The other funny cartoon (which is actually the first in the trilogy) is called Rabbit fire. Best part is the end, where bugs and daffy repeatedly pull of signs stating rabbit season and duck season, until they reach a sign that says ELMER Season. Needless to say, they start going off and shooting at Elmer Fudd.

Basically every moment of Freakazoid ever, but for space sake I'll pick one:

-Princess Diana and Sharon Stone were getting in a catfight over Freakazoid, and Freakazoid goes "Ladies, ladies, there's enough of me for both of you. *breaks fourth wall and winks at the camera* And if not they'll just have to draw me bigger."

That could actually go under "getting crap past the radar" as well.

I just remebered another one.

It's from a DBZ episode, Clash of the Superpowers, and in the beginning of the episode, they try to stop ChiChi from leaving planet Namek and that fat lazy samurai (Can't remember his name) tells them of the situation. When Bulma's dad tells her ship is fixed, they get angry at him, and then Master Rochi catches the fat samurai when he catches him climbing out of a window and tells him "This is one battle you're not going to miss!" They then try to stop Chichi, but I think she fights everyone else off. :anime:

Some of my favorite funny moments in cartoons are....

In the King of the Hill episode "Good Hill Hunting", Bobby can't hunt deer because Hank wasn't able to get his hunting license. When Bobby sees the deer that the other kids have killed, he starts crying and says this hilarious line: "Look at all the deer, it must be Christmas. I now know how Jewish kids feel."

In the Invader Zim episode "The Sad, Sad Tale of Chickenfoot", Dib is at the restaurant where Chickenfoot originated, and talks about him to one of the employees. Hearing about Chickenfoot causes the employee to freak out, and she tells Dib that things have happened to people that have worked at the restaurant. She then tells Dib to get out of here before Chickenfoot gets him. Dib asks if Chickenfoot ate them, and the employee says, "No, they found better jobs!"

For an unintentionally funny moment, there's the scene of mini Dee Jay from the American Street Fighter animated series.

Lionel Hutz is absolutely unbelievable in the Simpsons episode where Marge goes to prisson. Just one amazing joke after another. The five or so minutes that makes up the court scene in that episode just might be the funniest five minuts ever seen on TV.

I'm glad somebody else noticed that. Watching that episode one day, I realized it's truly the character's finest hour...I can't think of any other episode where he has so many hilarious lines and actions all at once. It's also one of the best examples of "The Simpsons" taking things that would be terrible in real life and making them so very, very funny through context and characterization (a child being run over, alcoholism).

His " replace 'kinda' with 'repeatedly' and 'dog' with 'son' " and "brownest of the brown liquors...what's that? You want me to DRINK you?" crack me up every time. :D Another one of the funniest Simpsons moments for me taking a real life tragedy and making it fodder for a terrific joke is Skinner freaking out over the school P.A. because a of a traumatizing flashback. "johnny? Johnny...JOOOOHNNNNYYYYY!!!!!!!!"
