Your Dream Team

God dammit, you sound like all the Lester Bangs wannabees who make way too much money writing crap articles for Rolling Stone.

ELP couldnt write a good song?... uh Tarkus?... From The Begining?... KARN EVIL ****ING 9???... What the hell, are you another one of those people who are saying progressive rock has no feeling and isnt progressive?. Or even worse, not creative and imaginitive, which is the most stupid thing i have ever heard, prog is one of the most imaginitive genres out there, how is it not imagintive?... Because it isnt degestible to the emo and punk crowd?... Because of the lack of bubble gum pop melodys and repetitive as hell riRAB and choruse's?... You think writing a prog song is easy?... That is rubbish in the best sense of the word. The common criticism used from critics, punks and other idiots who cant appreciate anything they are too stupid to understand is that prog puts more emphasis on the music rather than the message or lyrics, jesus christ is that bad now?... Does this mean all jazz, classical music and all forms of music that dont have lyrics about doing drugs and having sex is crap now?...The typical logic used from people who have no idea what they are talking about...Well screw that, id take good music with crap lyrics over horrible music with wonderful lyrics anyday.

Im sorry if im being too polite. X_X

Edit: And i cleaned up my languange, was a little too much like a Eminem lyric sheet there, i dont mean to come off being so agressive, but sometimes i get very carried away in arguements.

^true, true but just for the mentioning of the two guitarists let us bow our heaRAB in a salute to their great-ness in their own ways........ok thats enough, now go get'em tiger

yeh i know fleas kinda the odd one out but i dont know many basests so he was just my first choice that i could think of and cus he's good. and i know compared to the others its a different style but id just slap him and make him go metal!!!! :)

Flea would be able to adjust, he plays quite frantic bass lines in some of RHCP's songs and he plays some sluggish ones too, so yeah, he'd still fit in.

Tori Amos- Piano (Herself)
Ralph Molina - Drums (Neil Young)
Justin Chancellor - Bass (TOOL)
Vincent DiFiore - Trumpet (CAKE)

I gave myself the ability to have two diffrent instruments lead and take solos. This coupled with the fact that no two instruments in my band are played the same allowing me to tackle a few diffrent styles. If we count myself I have two vocalists and at least two song writers. Im pretty happy with the way it came out.

If there were rules, sorry, I'll have more fun without them.

First Guitar: Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin)
Second Guitar: Robbie Robertson (The Band)
Bass: Jaco Pastorius (Solo and Weather Report)
Drums:Terry Bozzio (Zappa and Missing Persons)
Tenor Sax: Michael Brecker (f'n everyone, jezz, the guy gets around)
Trumpet: Miles Davis
Keys: Bernie Worrell (Parlaiment/Funkadelic)
Harmonica and Vocals: Paul Butterfield (Paul Butterfield Blues Band)

Man, the White Stripes aren't about the hits. They make soild albums. Elephant doesn't have one bad song and some I'd say I like even more than the hits such as Girl, You have no Faith in Medicine.

Alright TheBig3.........Ive never found Jack White to be that cool in my books........how would you chnage my opinion in a paragraph.......remeberign the fact that i dislike The White Stripes

Luke Jaeger (Sleep Terror) - Guitar
Michael Amott (Arch Enemy, Carcass) - Guitar

these two would corabine the best of both worlRAB, Prog Death and Melodic Thrash. The results would be mind nurabing.

Stefan Fimmers (Necrophagist) - Bass

very few bassist I have heard capture the essence of controlled chaos like Fimmers does. His sheer inventiveness and fretwork leave almost everyone in the dust.

Gene Hogan (Dark Angel, Strapping Young Lad) - Drums

who better than the God of Thunder to be pounding away at the skins? Able to throw down blast beats (he along with Cryptopsy's Flo Mounier can do double blast beats as well) as well as jazz fills, nothing comes close to his style and precision.

We'd be the best jazz/death band ever. With actual lyrics. Ephel Duath better watch their back.

You humor me. You asked a question and then ask to end the debate. Its over, lets get back to picking good banRAB.

If I could I change my bassist, I would, but i'd still argue my band could take most of these guys out behind the wood shed.

Waits + White = Uber Garage Throwdown.

guitar 1 - Jimmy Page
guitar 2 - Jimi Hendrix
bass - John Paul Jones
drums - Keith Moon

two are dead, but o well.
