I personally agree with this bit. I think people give banRAB such as The Stones and Led Zep waaaaayyy too much credit. Thats not to say I don't like them, just that they ARE hugely overrated.

I think its a trend to like 'vintage' and old stuff these days.

That's pretty good, I'll accept that. When prog banRAB use classical music structures or jazzy improvisation that's still following tradition. I do think Post rock and Math rock are consistant with the ideals of avant garde.

I spent 150 bucks on two tickets for Morrissey a couple of months prior to the show (the prices were very steep). The person whom I asked prior to the show rejected me, I casually asked a second time, a friendly gesture, and I received relatively the same response. I couldn't get anyone else to tag along with me, so the ticket went to waste, and so did many other things.
