I bought a Billy Squire album because I liked the Stroke.
*hides face*
And I can't throw away my old Hillary Duff CRAB. Sentimental value.

When I was 10 years old my favorite banRAB list included Weird Al Yankovic, Foghat and Marylin Manson. Yeah. Chew on that for a while. I'm not erabarrassed, I'm just wondering how the fuck that makes sense, even to a 10-year-old.

Oh, and when I was a little boy, "The Monster Mash" used to scare the shit out of me. I would cry sometimes.

HAHAAAAA! i was just being hateful for myself, i didn't realize this was a trend. sorry brooooseph quibbles.

In all seriousness, iwas serious. seriously.

Oh thank you! but yeah, i haven't had much to say so i've cut back.

Modern music doesn't suck at all. There's absolutely tons of great stuff out there, fresh for the listening, ready for your ears to devour. People's ears just need to be switched on. They need to ditch commercial radio almost entirely because that isn't doing anything new anymore, end of story. Go online. Hit up lastfm. Pandora, whatever other similar sites there are out there. You'll find gobs and gobs of awesome amazing stuff, all tailored to your very own tastes in most cases. The beauty is you get sort through it THINK FOR YOURSELF and tailor your own tastes and library accordingly.

It's actually a freaking great time to get into music, just get off your ass and quit being spoonfed a bunch of crap from an industry model that is dead or at least dying.

As Peter Gabriel put it... 'The music industry is dead, but there's still plenty of interesting creatures crawling out of the carcass".

Even though you had a similar look.

I think Spice Girls are the best of the bubblegum pop acts of the 90s. I still think Momma is a pretty good song too. I also still find the movie moderately funny. Especially the scene where they're day dreaming.

As for my musical secret I like The Gothsicles.

I don't own a single Led Zeppelin, Clapton, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, or Rolling Stones record and frankly I'm not motivated to fix any of that.

I admit some my artists in my library can be awful for lot of people but... it's not my problem.
And taste is subjective - I bet we can find lot of artists which are loved and hated by many people.

Ok, I admit like a teenager I liked one album of Britney Spears :D Now I am really not able to listen to it but I know some people who still like it and I don't judge them.

And I still listen to some siblings (Jimmy, Patricia, Angelo) of former The Kelly Family :stupid: Yeah, that's maybe my biggest "secret" but actually it's not a secret - you can see it everywhere (Last.fm, Youtube, MySpace).
Hehe, now you can hate me :p:
