I used to like them at first when the album was released, but when 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love' started getting played endlessly on the radio and music channels the over-exposure started to make them incredibly irritating, especially Justin's voice. I agree that they're not terrible but thank christ i've discovered better music since.
Well, personally, I think that's a bit harsh of them to ban you, since your level of excitement at their theme is something their advertising department should consider as a bit of a major coup...
I've tried to explain this to people but they just won't listen. But behind all the camp costumes and silly accents were actually some of the greatest pieces of popular music ever written.
At night when I'm bored and can't fall asleep, I watch all those sh*tty pop music videos you see on tv. I actually have NO clue why. I don't even enjoy the music. Or the videos. Wtf.
I used to be a huge ska freak, that only listened to ska and almost nothing else. Then, for some reason, I just stopped listening to ska and started listening to super hardcore extreeeeeeeeeeme metalcore. Then I sudden stopped listening to that and began to listen to Mr. Bungle.
I guess. The handful of songs I've heard by them seem somewhat catchy. Nothing amazing, mind you, but I'm sure "Clocks" has been stuck in my head once or twice.
