scottsy, that would be a pretty accurate term. hehe Slippery When Wet by far is the band's highlight (and even that is no masterpiece). It's not that I couldn't see the Hall of Fame nominating BJ, but I find it humorous that anyone thought the band was a shoo-in when it became eligible this past year.

Barry Manilow has a talent for jingles, sure, and for those cheesy love songs. He's another one that I can't believe anyone would think would be a no-brainer for the HOF. he's been eligible for some time, and if he hasn't been considered as of yet, likely not to happen.

I started listening to Chevelle because a guy I liked listened to the band and they were going to a concert with Evanescence.

I was planning on inviting him to the concert with me.

I never ended up doing that because I was too shy.

But I still like Chevelle. =P

I can't imagine anyone thinking Prince could be a "musical secret." His more recent material may not be as classic as some of his best, but he's done enough great music to go down as one of the best makle artists of all time.

Anne Rice's favorite band --

I think they have the lamest name - reminRAB me of all
the stupid vampire clubs in NYC --

As for music...well there's always going to be bay city rollers fans
in the world. Sad but true. They have their niche

Bleed American
A Praise Chorus
Get It Faster
Authority Song
Big Casino
Futures
Just Tonight
Work
Kill
Pain

Theirs my list of JEW's greatness.

Sureil, I married a US Citizen! She already had a son when we met, so we decided to put down our roots here to basically accomodate his neeRAB.... he loves his biological dad to bits so there's no way I could ever come between that... been here four years and feeling very, very comfortable and cozy with the whole deal, although I do miss Australia and the remainder of my family quite a bit. My life here is pretty darn good though.

My secret is that I've only really gotten into music quite recently. I feel a little nauseated when I think of all the years lost. I have so much catching up to do.

I'm not even that into music from MY generation, I'm more into what came before it. So I'll probably be a f*cking assh*le when I'm middle aged and talking about the music my kiRAB are listening to, if I ever have kiRAB.

DID I JUST GET DOTTED!!!!!!

Teehee.....

Why did I get dotted...... was the dot for the statement about Britney Spears or the statement about hating the music I used to listen to....

I kinda sorta don't mind 'em myself - not going to rush out there and buy or download any of their stuff, but I don't feel the need to barf whenever I hear a song by them...
