Your biggest cooking blunder?

I am embarrassed to say that this morning (just after I woke up) I was making a cake and it turned horribly wrong. Me being the worst cook ever and half asleep (not a good mix!), I misread the label of a container in my cupboard and put 3/4 of a metric cup of salt in my cake instead of sugar. Whoops! Whats the biggest mistake you've made when cooking?

I did a small roast pork in my cast iron camp oven once, and didn't let the camp fire die down enough.

1/2 hour later I had a charred black ball what looked like charcoal.

The dog wouldn't even eat it!

when i overcooked pasta it was mushy instead than al denteterrible mistake
