So what trailers have you seen that when it enRAB you keep having to watch again and again. The kind of trailer that after it enRAB you cant wait to watch the final film.

The Dark Knight teaser trailer was quite cool as well as the one for Inception. I also kept having to watch The Imaginirium of Doctor Parnassus one as well.

Others are -
Terminator Salvation (although the film was a bit naff)
2nd Avatar trailer
Sherlock Holmes
Iron Man
Cloverfield

my favourite trailer all time was of course Alien 3.

this kind of reflects my anticipation at the time for that movie - after waiting years and years and actually beleiving there would never be a sequal to my favourite movie of all time...

the film, of course, was pants. but the trailer just thrilled the hell out of me.

The X-Files: Fight The Future, the best part of the trailer that I watched over and over when it first came out starts from around the 40 second mark. Now when you are a massive X-Files fan, this was just mindblowing :) :

There was another trailer for a different film I liked, The Mummy, and they used the original piece of music called O Verona, it's the remix version used in the X-Files trailer, but I can't seem to find The Mummy trailer on youtube that used it.

I remember many years ago being in the Warner Bros store at lakeside when on the big screen the trailer for Batman & Robin came on and the whole store just froze with silence until it finished and me thinking that it looked fantastic and couldnt wait to see it.
Perhaps we should have a thread titled 'Trailers that were better than the actual film!!!'.

The Knocked Up trailer was pretty good. Instead of lots of little clips taken from the whole film, it just showed their dinner conversation. It definitely made me want to see the film. Which unfortunately was OK but not as great as the trailer, and many details that made the trailer didn't make the actual film.
