My avatar picture is Komugi Nakahara from Nurse Witch Komugi Magikarute. I loved the series becuase it's a send-up of magical girl anime. I bought the two volumes of the show. I hope ADV gets the rights for Nurse Witch Komugi Magikarute Z

I still remember the last time we had one of these threads, well over a year ago to be sure... the last big one at least.

I like to change mine fairly often and just did so the other day. My last avatar:

was Juna in her transformed state as the Avatar of Time in Earth Girl Arjuna. A rather good, oft underated series. One that also has some wonderful art.

My current avatar is Stoner from Eureka Seven. I chose him because, well he so far seems to be just a pretty cool guy in general, and I thought I'd try to shy away from a seriously main character for once. Although I have a few more from EU that I will probably be going through soon.

Right now, I'm at the end of my Shinamori Aoshi avatars. I have 108 screencapped avatars, as in the 108 Stars of Destiny from the Genso Suikoden RPG series, my favorite by the way (at least through the first two games).

Normally, I would rotate my avatars and switch to a new Aoshi cap each day. At the end of the cycle, I would put up weekly pics of various other characters or people I admire such as Arima Souichirou (Kare Kano), Rock Lee (Naruto), Tony Kornheiser (Pardon the Interruption), or Mojo Jojo (Powerpuff Girls).

My current avatar as of now is Urahara Kisuke, as I just started watching Bleach about a week ago (and have already caught up :P). I chose him because I like Shinichiro Miki's voice acting and because most of the other characters seemed like they'ed already be used. Although, after looking through this thread, it appears Advent_Nebula beat me to it...

I'm curious. Do you know for sure that they are bass guitars? Secondly, on a different "note", how do you know that the names
rickenbacker and EB-0 1961
are what their guitars are called? is it mentioned or did you recognize the design or something?

Ron Jeremy, I think. And yeah, I don't believe he's anime related... Look him up in Wikipedia, and you'll see why ^w^'.

Mine is from Yoshitoshi ABe's cover art for the Haibane Renmei OST CD. It goes with my username (OK I know the haibane aren't really angels), and she reminds me of my own little angel...

I'm sorry, but I must ask what you admire about Mojo Jojo. Is it that he repeats himself, because repeating yourself is a very admirable quality, in fact out all the qualities he has, repeating himself would have to be the most admirable, thus out of all the qualities Mojo Jojo has, the most admirable would have to be how he repeats himself... really, I want to know what you find admirable about him. Well, he is very determined to destroy the Powerpuff Girls, but every super villian is very determined to acomplish their goal.

My avatar, as plainly seen, is a combo affair. Yurika from Nadesico is an easy guess, and for anyone who isn't into college basketball, the block G is currently the identifying symbol of the Georgetown University Hoyas. Simply put, I grew up as a die-hard fan of Hoya basketball, but I really didn't get into anime until 1996 (has it been 10 years already?). So, to illustrate the conflict over which is my current passion, I cropped the two images, laid down some text, and there you go.

Now that I think about, since I am on an Anime messageboard, I should probably use an anime avatar to, I guess, fit in? @_@

So I decided to go with Jiraiya, only cause he's my favourite character in Naruto.

I like my avatar of a very worried Shinobu from Love Hina. I am like her (cept im not a girl ^.^' ) because i freak out about the same way that she does. :oops:

My avatar does not reflect me or my personality in any way (obviously since I’m a girl… hence the name Pretty Girl). My avatar is of Himura Kenshin from my first and favourite anime. Kenshin, being my favourite character ever, is the reason I chose him as my avatar.

I am, however, quite intrigued by the fact that many of you have chosen an avatar which somehow reflects your personality or the way you look. That’s pretty interesting (in a good way :) ).

[edit = You guys convinced me to change my avatar. Guess this post doesn't apply anymore ^_^' I chose this new one since I think my name should maybe correspond with my avatar. At least it's a girl... hee hee hee. If you're wondering who it is, it's Kamiya Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin]
