Your actors to avoid list

Can I join in to share my hatred of Michael Caine? He only ever plays himself - a Cockney moron. I can't watch anything he's in.

Also Liz Hurley - couldn't act her way out of a paper bag.
Steven Seagal - what happened to him? Did he fall into a pie factory with the only option of eating himself out?
Hugh Grant - dizzy toff mitt have worked once but never again.
Ewen McGregor - because his accent in Star Wars was atrocious. I've never heard such a dreadful English accent.

Daniel Radcliffe. I can only cope with him by pretending he's meaning to be funny. He's that bad to me.
Rupert Grint. Likewise. Also,he mumbles all his lines, making it even worse.
Hugh Grant. I've only seen him in Bridget Jones but he irritated the hell out of me in that.
Helena Bonham Carter. She's ruined the character of Bellatrix for me,I think she's awful.
Everyone in Twilight. I'm sorry but I found them all to be completely wooden, although to be fair there wasn't really much to work with for most of them.
Liv Tyler. I've only seen her as Arwen but she was just completely blank. How on earth can she be so blank when she has Viggo Mortensen telling her in Elvish that he loves her??
Orlando Bloom. He was OK in Lord of the Rings, but he wasn't as much of a focal point in those because there was so much going on. In Pirates of the Caribbean he's bloody awful.

Nicholas Cage
Will Ferrell
Danny Trejo
Jason Statham
Gwyneth Paltrow
Katherine Heigl
Ben Affleck
Russell Brand

... and anyone from the disney channel or the CW!

Yeah. My friend says she won't watch any TV or film with SJP in it.

I avoid:

Megan Fox (vapid)

Don Johnson (smug)

Pia Zadora (awful)

I used to avoid any Non-Trek movie with "Large Ham" William Shatner, but since he started poking fun at himself in stuff like "Free Enterprise" I find him quite enjoyable to watch.

Yep, totally agree. To me, she comes across as a total b*tch - was cringing when I saw her on Top Gear. Also don't really rate her films much too (Keeping Mum was a waste of a few hours).

I also go with:
* Will Smith (and his insufferable wife and family).
* Diane Keaton (she almost spoilt The Godfather films for me).
* Jack Nicholson (especially in Something's Gotta Give - came across as a slimy, detestable perv; I just couldn't see the attraction).
* Renee Zellweger.
* Adam Sandler (apart from 50 First Dates).
* Jack Black.
* Keira Knightley.
* Danny Dire (typo and it stays).
* Hugh Grant (how on earth can he be considered good looking).
* Andie McDowell and those Godawful hairdye adverts.
* Ricky Gervais (unfunny in everything).
* Vince Vaughn.
* Daniel Radcliffe (awful in the 1st HP film and not much improved now).
* David Schwimmer (all I can see is the unlikeable whiny Ross).
* Eddie Murphy (apart from Shrek films and Dr Doolittle).
* That young boy in the Stuart Little films (sets my teeth on edge)!

Apart from the above, not too many..........:)

He was OK in Schlinder's List, but Liam Neeson and Ben Kingsley stole the show. I haven't seen the Constant Gardener, but I didn't like him at all in The English Patient or the Reader. He just leaves me completely cold and uninterested in any of his characters. Very different story with Joseph.

Catherine Deneuve - same thing. She was rubbish in Indochine!! I much preferred her sister Francoise Dorleac, who sadly died early in her career.

Adam Sandler - I watched Happy Gilmore a years back when a friend recommended as the funniest film ever. I thought the plot, character and acting was pretty idiotic and I didn't laugh once. I gave him another chance Punch-Drunk Love and Mr DeeRAB, but it was like watching Happy Gilmore all over again. Similar sense of humour and characters. Not my cup of tea.

Jennifer Aniston - I just think she's really bland actress and I never really engage with her whenever I watch anything with her in it. Although I was tempted to watch Marley and Me because I adored the book, but it was a toss up and re-reading the book eventually won out.

I'm another one who avoiRAB films with Adam Sandler. I just don't get the sense of humour his films normally go with. I've watched a couple and I'm none of them have made me laugh - The Wedding Singer, Happy Gilmore, Punch Drunk Love...nope. Don't get it.

And whenever I see the name Jennifer Aniston associated with the film, I tend to dismiss it. I saw a run of second rate rom-coms (Along Came Polly, Picture Perfect, and The Object of My Affection) and now whenever I see her name I just can't muster any enthusiasm. Meh is probably the closest response I have towarRAB her because the films I saw were so lukewarm.

Ben Stiller - too clutsy
Renee Zellweger - too ditsy
John Cussack - boring
Bruce Willis - but loved him in Moonlighting
Tom Cruise coz he annoys me
Woody Allen - but used to like his stuff back in the day, find him annoying now and find him disturbing since his stepdaughter incident:mad:

I cannot stand anything with Posh British actors:
Hugh Grant
Colin Firth
Richard E Grant
Ewan McGreggor

Then there are other terrible British actors that are supposed to be funny and seem to be very popular.
Ricky Gervais
Simon Pegg
Nick Frost
Russel Brand

For the Americans i will pick:
Tom Cruise
Brad Pitt

Agree with these three.

I like Russell Brand as a personality, but he's a horrible actor.

Nicholas Cage is the same in every single role and can't emote to save his life.

Will Ferrell I just find irritating for some reason, and he just seems to star in one shitty and/or forgettable film after another.

I like her (almost love her) but her films are such... bilge.

He just strikes me as an unpleasant creepy person, and his comedy is just, vile. He also does everything on the movie, so he earns billions, it is just a cash earner for him.
I suppose he aims it to 12 year old boys, so maybe not us.

I can't actually think of anything with him in... but he's baaaad.

There is only 1 film of hers worth watching and that is The Good Girl, her performance is great and was the first and only time she didnt remind me of her character in frienRAB
