Your actors to avoid list

Jim Carrey - Hes just not funny to me
Robin Williams - Hes just not funny to me
Steven Seagal - Fed up of his lame ass action movies
Chris Rock - Hes just not funny to me
Adam Sandler - After Big Daddy, I gave up on him
Jack Black -

But how can anyone say Will Smith? Seven PounRAB, The Pursuit of Happyness and Bad boys are great movies IMO.

I think Brad Pitt is the only "huge" actor I like. He is one of the only people who is a little bit diverse. Most of them play the same character in every film, just with a different name.

I avoid Tom Cruise at all costs. I cannot stand him as an actor and it seems he's pretty much a dick in reality, too.

Agree agree agree on Adam Sandler. I can see the same thing happening with Ben Stiller, I love a lot of his old movies but he's doing the same thing to death.

Will Ferrell too. I LOVED Anchorman but really dislike Will Ferrell himself. I will still give a movie of his a chance (id recommend Stranger Than Fiction to see him away from his usual self) but still have to get over that inital *bleurgh* when I hear he is the lead in a film.

Keira Knightley. Cate Blanchett. Cameron Diaz. Mike Myers (which again is a shame because some of his older stuff is great).

I find myself rolling my eyes at anything that has Tom Cruise in it these days, but he too was in some really good stuff in the past as others have mentioned, but Id have to REALLY want to see a film with him in it to watch it these days.

The Pursuit of Happyness and Seven PounRAB....I'm totally with you. Brilliant movies.

In fact, I can't really say I've disliked any of Will Smith's movies.

But I see the beef with the guy.....he's taking over and is over saturated in just about everything.

I think that can be said for many actors mentioned here. It's not that they are bad....but have over creamed the cake, so to speak. :D

Now that I think about it I don't really have that many aversions to actors and actresses, which surprises me. :D

However...

Jim Carey in a comedy. I do like his straight stuff though.
Danny Devito
Will Smith may be on the verge of arriving on my 'avoid' list too.

ben stiller
vinnie jones
tom cruise
will smith
any wrestler turned actor (steve austin, cena)
any of the cast of frienRAB
mark wahlberg
kristen stewart
helena bonham carter
jason biggs
Seann William Scott

In no particular order-Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, Liz Hurley, Julia Roberts, Catherine Zeta Jones, Keira Knightley, Kate Winslet, Uma Thurman, Hugh Grant, Ricky Gervais, Ben Affleck, Jim Carrey, Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Bill Cosby, Samuel L Jackson (is there anything he WON'T act in?), Steven Segal, Jean Claude Van Damme.

There are certain actors who are so cringeworthy that they're funny, so for this reason the likes of Sylvester Stallone and Sean Connery (Zardoz and Meteor, anyone? :D) miss the list by a whisker. :D

And I certainly wouldn't count the likes of Megan Fox and Pamela Anderson as actresses-more inanimate objects, so they're excluded. :p

I can't stand Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise and Angelina Jolie. However, I did enjoy Changeling although I only watched it because I didn't realise Angelina was in it, though luckily forgot it was her after the first ten minutes.

i probably have a few,but i find tom cruise very unwatchable and annoying.
i can just about handle him in jerry maguire but thats only cos its a good movie.

we think alike !

Kidman used to be alright , but she seems to have had her entire face bottoxed , kinda restrictive for an actor , she was awful in Australia and Invasion

Adam Sandler
Danny Dyer
Jim Carrey
Danny Dyer
Jennifer Aniston
Danny Dyer
Jack Black
Danny Dyer
Steve Carrell
Danny Dyer
Sacha Baron Cohen

And anything with Danny Dyer in.

Definitely agree with Adam Sandler. I disliked him from years back, when I found him completely unfunny. Then recently I thought maybe it's me, and gave him another chance with Bedtime Stories. Hated it, and still really dislike him :D He's just not funny!

This one is a bit of a golden oldie, but I can't watch many films with James Stewart in because his voice sets my teeth on edge :D Have no probs with his acting though.
