I want to find books.. aimed for, preferably young adults. fantasy is good, but please don't just throw 'harry potter' or 'twilight.' been there already.
ROMANCE IS KEY. haha.. romance would be good.. it doesn't have to be enormously blatant romance going on though.
I'm not squeamish or easily offended.. I do prefer the radical kinds of book better than inside-the-box cliches... i don't mind interesting books at all- i just finished The Garden by Aidinoff.. it wasn't exactly the epitome of good writing, which vexes me, but the author wasn't afraid to click some unsaid things into place (such as the serpent-eve romance), and i enjoyed that.
i would also prefer it if the main character was a girl.. makes relating easier.
a book revolving around a girl that is dabbed with romance and maybe eyebrow-raising plots, i suppose is what I'm looking for.
if you can think of anything, just throw it out there. thanks.
oh. and the 'consorting with the enemy' plot types thrown in would also be lovely; whether the protagonist willed it to be that way or the exact opposite.
