You'll never get that time back - the CRAP MOVIE thread #2(NO LISTS)

The Davinci Code - For people who haven't actually read the book, the movie can be amusing. But I've read the book, and the movie sucked big time. It skipped very important parts.
Well, 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.

Although I have never seen the movie, Poseidon looked like another Titanic prequel to its family of luxury boats.

I saw this movie last night, and I have to agree. I found while it was at times intriguing, I was left kind of conufsed. I did catch it about halfway through...but I was still at a loss.

Love actually I really thought this would be a good movie. I was wrong. It was just stupid, didn't have a good flow, i really didn't enjoy it.

Date Movie This movie was not funny in the slightest, didn't make me laugh once, i don't think.

Poseidon - It bored me most of the film and the characters I couldnt get in to, I didnt really care if they all survived or died.

 Oh wow, I havent see that movie in a long time, I cant even remember if it was good or bad, but I will take your word on it. Even though I love Bill Cosby.

The Marine - WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) performer John Cena as an ex-marine who has to rescue his kidnapped wife from a psychotic jewel thief (Robert Patrick) who takes her hostage during a botched robbery attempt. Completely unrealistic, over-the-top and cartoonish this movie goes beyond corny and ends up amateurish. There are action movies that are so silly and unbelievable it tends makes them good, but this is not one of them. This is a bad movie from start to finish. Avoid at all costs.

Aw that sucks that Epic movie wasnt all that has cracked up to be :pout:

Farce of the penguins-
The beginning of the movie was actually pretty funny but then towards the middle to the ending it got real boring for me fast. It lost its humor and kinda became like a soap opera that deals with just penguins

The Covenant...horrible. Oy. Really, really bad. When the word 'wi-otch' enters a film, you know it's bad. It was sad, too, because I liked Underworld and its sequel. How did the producers go so wrong?

I plan on seeing Blood and Chocolate...I hope it's better.

I heard "Epic Movie" was bad, and I'm glad you guys confirmed it. Now I have even more reasons to tell my friend why we're so NOT seeing it

I wasn't even going to watch 3 years from now when it "premiered" on network television, but I think this thread has made the strong point to avoid "Epic Movie".

It's sad it sucked, though. Good spoofs are a party, too bad nobody knows how to make them anymore.

Man of the Year... One of the worst films I've seen this year. All the jokes were in the previews and the preview didn't even tell you what the movie was really about. Horrible!

That is exactly why i liked it! That and Clive being a completely awesome beast!

Spiderman 1+2 - I thought they were too cartoonishly done to be any good. Mind you, i'm not a comic fan at all, but all of the other comic book based movies I have seen have at least seem more realistic (figuratively speaking) and I got alot more enjoyment from them.

Closer - The movie moved far too slowly. I didn't really like the plot or the characters. And seeing Natalie Portman's butt magnified 10 times didn't help.

Love, Actually - Meh. Didn't understand the film. And the plot with the two porn stars was ew.

The Family Stone, I loved the actors from the trailer. But the chracters were pretty much all incredibaly mean and thinking so high of themselves. I found it annoying and not well put together for a story point of view. The writers seem to be grabbing at lots of things that added up to nothing. Luke Wilison and Sarah Jessica Parker pairing was the only good thing about it, they actually had chemistry.

:lmao:

Well, WBB was a movie rental, so no such luck for us... But that's hilarious.

I do the same thing at movie theatres. I actually start the whole thing about an hour to an hour and a half before the movie. I don't eat or drink just to make sure I won't have to go during the movie...

I used to work at a Blockbuster and we got 10 free rentals a week and we also got to watch the new releases before they were officially released (because, at that point, we weren't allowed to rent them for the first three weeks, but we also had to form an opinion because customers will ask for them). Anyway, the point is that I saw a lot of crap... but I mostly fast-forwarded through all of it, you know?
