Tomb Raider - Fell asleep after half an hour and I saw it in the middle of an afternoon, so it's not as if I was prone to fall asleep at that time of day. Angelina Jolie is a treat for the eyes but that can't make up for a senseless, boring plot. Needless to say, I didn't bother with the sequel.
Sahara - Complete Indiana Jones rip-off. Ridiculous and Matthew McConaughey's at his most annoying. He also needs to learn that "Ava" and "Eva" are two different names.
Assault on Precinct 13 - Drea de Matteo is probably one of the most vulgar actresses alive, the plot was basically ridiculous, it was just an annoying bloodbath taking place at a precinct on New Year's Eve. Meh. How such a weak script attracted Ethan Hawke, Gabriel Byrne, Laurence Fishburne and Maria Bello is beyond me.

poor spoofs are horrible. I like the rare spoof where they can turn out to be better than the scene from the actual movie lol

I never heard of it either but one of my friends netflxed it. I think it could have been great but they took all the boring parts of famous independent movies and made them complete crap! They spoofed The Good Girl, El Mariachi, Amelie, Pulp Fiction. Memento, Reservoir Dogs, Swingers, Magnolia, PI and a few more... All great films but they were just poorly spoofed.

I don't care if it made over a bazillion dollars, this movie is another "Matrix Reloaded" because it is only half a story... And not even a good one at that. This really surprised me considering I didn't think the first one was half bad. Not as great as everybody else kept raving about, but definitely not as bad as the second one. I hope the third one is half-way decent because it stacks up as a stand alone film that is lacking in so many ways and is just showy bombast with no real plot or characterization, IMO.

The Truth About Charlie with Mark Wahlberg and Thandie Newton
They remade Charade without any of its silly fun and all and with all of the convoluted plot points.
It's hard to follow and it doesn't have any of the campy charm of the original.
