...Health Care Plan? These little snippets are actually in Obama's health care plan as it is currently written:
Pg 30 Sec 123 of HC bill – a Government committee (good luck with that!) will decide what treatments/benefits a person may receive.
Pg 42 of HC Bill – The Health Choices Commissioner will choose your HC Benefits for you.
Pg 58 HC Bill – Government will have real-time access to individual’s finances and a National ID Healthcard will be issued
Pg 59 HC Bill lines 21-24 Government will have direct access to your bank accts for election funds transfer
Pg 195 HC Bill -officers & employees of HC Admin (the GOVERNMENT) will have access to ALL Americans’ finances and personal records.
Pg 239 Line 14-24 HC Bill Government will reduce physician services for Medicaid. Seniors, low income, poor affected.
Pg 22 of the HC Bill mandates the Government will audit books of all employers that self insure. Can you imagine what that will do to small businesses? Every one will abandon “self insurance” and go on Government insurance. So when Obama says that there will still be private health care, it’s simply a lie: this mandate will force employers to abandon their private plans.
Oh and there is more and more of stuff like this. Is this what Americans want?? I hope not.
 
Because they're racist and don't want to be healthy knowing their good health was the result of an African-American's plan.

Republicans would rather let their child die than accept a minority's help.

It is truly amazing that so many who are saying this is what we need haven't bothered to read what is being proposed. What is doubly sad is that this bill has not been read by congress or the President. But, we must rush to pass it! Where are the senators and congressmen who are supposed to represent us? They are obviously not in Washington.
 
Private insurance companies already do most of those things and most Republican have shown they do not care much about privacy when the topic is national security , so I doubt that is what is bothering them, I think it is they do not want to increase taxes to pay for it.
 
I don't know, Is this what America wants? Apparently even though I am an American, I don't fall into the category of, "What America Really Wants", that Obama keeps talking about.

Actually, I don't want the corporation to choose my HC benefits for me either.

I really don't like the private insurers policies and this really seems like the same thing but run by the govt. So I don't like it, but I did have to point out that you already have that in private insurers.

And the govt has access to my finanaces. Ya know, when I file my INCOME TAX returns, I have to put my income on a line and send it to the govt??!!!

Also, if you read the wording of the bill, which I have, it constantly calls it an option to enroll. From there, they find a provider for you. The same provider who will screw you over just like those of us who can afford it privately. Big woop.
 
This legislation is the panacea. The ultimate avenue to government command and control. Of course companies are going to drop insurance in many cases. The rationale will be that they no longer have to provide it because the public option exists. Those companies who do not drop it will some find their will be no private options left in the long run as government price controls and manipulations of the free market force private insurers out of business with unfair competition strategies.
