You think my car will be ok?

It was flooded and my car got into one of those deadly puddles you know the one where your car turns off and your stuck in the middle of the road. Well my car turned off and when we tried turning on the motor it made a sound like something cracking or grinding so I stopped and havent tried to turn it on again. You think my car will be ok?
 
yeah! your cars hoes be fine i would take it to a mecanic just to be sure no water got into the motor. or it might be the the spark plugs or the cap.
 
No. You pulled water into the intake. Honestly, trying to turn the motor back on in the puddle was a REALLY bad idea. If water was pulled into the intake and made it to the cylinders, the engine is finished. You'll need to replace the engine. I strongly suggest you flush and fill the rest of the fluids in the car. Water getting to anything that requires lubrication (trans, rear diff, transfer case, etc) will eventually ruin those components as well. Also the water could have created numeral electrical problems.
