You need to build a solid, and you have 8 cubes to build it with.?

What's the greatest and least surface area for a solid made with a cubes? What about 24?

Anything is helpful..thanks
 
to make a solid with a small sa you need to make a chunky shape so it will conceal as many faces a s poss. This would be a cube 2 by 2 by 2 Sa 6 lots of 4 24cm^2
To make a solid with a lge sa you need a psread out shape so i row of 8. Sa 8by 1 4times
and 1by 1 twice
so 32 + 2 = 34cm^2
