you know the 'perfect10 hair dye' why did it fade & wash out?

ok so i dyed my hair a glossy black a few days ago its a 'Permanent dye',, but i shower every morning which also means i wash my hair to and i can see the colour dripping away wen ever i wash it.. so is there any other box hair dye that 'Never' fades?

Im not sure,but i read somewhere that when you apply it you should apply it to dry hair not wet because it dosent fade
