Don't give in?

WOW, and here i thought people needed a job in this economy.

I say buck up and just FUCKING DO IT!

Sure, she might be being a bitch, but she also sounds like she is weeding out the people that don't take their jobs seriously.

Edit: btw, your school comes first, so i have no issue with that. you are right in that regard. But, turning down work because of other shit? WOW.

Oh yeah, i am late for work due to a flat tire....i guess i better go.....

I've had an uneasy feeling from the beginning. I thought that perhaps I was being overly critical and maybe even a little bit cynical, or that perhaps I thought Danni was above this kind of McJobbery regardless of whether or not she's in school.

Availability schedules are filled out for a reason. Maybe she's doing it maliciously, maybe she isn't. Either way if she's looking for a quivering pushover she's got the wrong chick.

I'd also like to note that before the two of us started coming down with swine flu, Danni was going to work the night she was "mistakenly" scheduled to work, even though it was a.) not on her schedule as available and b.) going to mean a VERY late night before a VERY early morning.

My question is this: unavailable means unavailable. If they're going to disregard the availability sheets turned in by their employees, why do they even ask for them?

I was speaking about her Wednesday nights CL. I would hope nobody would ditch a class for a part time job that is completely incompetent in regards to reading a schedule. If I've learned anything it's that when it comes to jobs it's very easy for a precedent to be set by simply trying to accommodate someone else. Usually you end up regretting being "nice".
