You know it's true, admit it

How many of you had held an iPhone for 1 month time? How many of you have you played it's amazing 3d games?

Why have I come here to ask such a question? To rant on why android platforms are obsolete? Continue on.

I live in wyoming where at@t is not present. It was a matter of time when I decided to open my wallet for a buetiful android phone. It's OS was amazing and I could customize it however I liked. I dropped this phone Many of time and to this day not one scratch has been spotted. I laughed at any apple iPhone users calling their phone stupid and continued to caress my android like a baby.

About 4 months later Verizon got their iPhone and I refused to get one. I hated the fact how the apple virus was spreading throughout my town. I finally decided to open another Verizon account and pay to get the stupid phone made out of glass. I had to laugh because after about three minutes of use I had three scratches.

Of course I had to dig In my wallet and get a case and some screen protecters. But after such I still felt the android was better. The sleek design of the brittle iPhone scarred me, I hated getting my phone out in public in fear of it getting snatched away or dropped.

So I literally put the iPhone away and continued with my android.

I was at a party and my iPhone friend started showing of this halo looking app (nova) that of which I couldn't find on my android. He played movies on Netflix and played many other cool apps that I couldn't find on the android market

The quality of the screen looked amazing and when I pulled my android out i felt obsolete.

I now switch back and forth from my android platform and my apple iPhone 4. I don't know which phone to stay with. But I find myself picking up the iBreak more than the android. I love android, but please convince me. I like both

i dunno, this sounds like an apple employee post to me, apologies if not. here's my take on it.

android is just an OS, you need to choose a phone manufacturer first. you don't get this choice with apple. only apple.

the only phone virus i've heard of are .sis (basic early symbian) files.

i have many apple products & it's true to say the only ones i like are the ones that do NOT have iOS. i hate iOS; to me it is an OS designed for school kids or elderly people with dimentia. basically, i think they made it so simple that it's painfully patronising.

some people may have better results in gaming or video on an iphone but i don't do games & are more than happy with the screen on my defy.

my ipod touch is very fussy about if & when it likes to connect to free wifi; my defy does not suffer this problem.

ok, so i have a touch, not an iphone, but i'm talking iOS4 here. the touch was good for gapless music & internet radio (quicktime). but i tend to leave it at home moreso now; i feel the android is better all round; & i actually think there is better choice of apps in the market, especially free ones.

probably if i had iphone that too would feel like "better all round", but i just don't like iOS. apple is too restrictive imo

Sucks to be you.

Continue to only focus on games like a kid and design like someone off jersey shore. The rest of us will be content with having an OS that *actually* works.

To me I think apple in genreal is a bit over priced I mean really almost three hundred bucks for an eight gig ipod touch. I mean hell I can get a sony mp3 player that does almost the same thing but has an sdcard slot to up the memory and the amount of music I can have on there. That and the other thing that kinda urks me is let's say a game on the istore is ten bucks the same game with the same quailty of play and features in the market place are like five six bucks. Don't even get me started on there desktops or laptops they are just plan stupid if they think people want to drop almost 20 grand for a desktop that most people can build them selfs for like 8 or 9 hundred bucks,

Hello guys. Sorry I havent replied. Yes the android OS is great and I loved my phone during when I used it a lot. And yes apple only demands apple products. But doesnt the marketplace... I don't know....... Sorta "suck". I mean I'm not the first to complain. Although I'm in no way trying to say it sucks

I mean... Cant apple fans and android fans be friends. Im sure we could work together somehow.

Fair play for not being a one post hit & run!

Nah, excuse the defensiveness, android is not perfect, though I still think apple are finding it tougher now because android buyers have more choice, & not overpriced. I feel apple may have to move with the times, people don't like to feel restricted too much, or the smug advertising for that matter. This is from someone who syncs from a macbook pro, go figure. Why no snow leopard on ipad? Why the fisher-price os that is ios? It's great until the novelty wears off.
