yeah, i tell some of my friends to do simple things too and they act like they have no idea whats goin on. retarded i must say.
 
Yesterday I stood in line for an ATM for almost 1/2 hour. The two people at the machine (yes it seemed to take both of them to create the vacumn of idiocy) had evidently never used one before and couldn't quite figure out how to complete multiple transactions.

Yes, I could have gone to another machine, but it was like watching Abbott and Costello. Each time one would do something that appeared to work, the other would cancel it and start over.


So, lesson learned. If you're going to act stupid in public, at least be funny.
 
Don't belittle me.

1) You're acting like it's just some things they don't understand. Everyone has some things they don't understand about a lot of stuff, but when they don't even give it any effort and should know the things they don't, thats where I draw the line. I'm not being mean, I've tried to help people with computers as best I can, and it is very frusterating when they don't know what a fucking mouse cursor is.

2)It's not about what interests them. Does English or Math interest me? Not really. Do I try my best and put effort into what I'm doing? Yes. They should know this stuff, that's all I'm saying. It's all common sense and they can't figure it out.

3) Oh God. Listen to yourself.



Are you serious? An instruction guide? If they don't take the effort to move the mouse cursor up to the toolbar and click on Help, do you really expect them to read a manual on computers? Same goes for lessons.

4) I do think I'm superior to them when it comes to simple shit like this.

5) Sure, they're better at something than me. Even more so. If they can play guitar and deal with all those chords and stuff, they should damn well be able to figure out simple shit on computers.

And as a General statement for both of you: Let me remind you this is a ranting site. I can bitch and moan about anything I want and belittling me and telling me I'm getting frusterated for nothing won't help SHIT.

Lame_enc.dll

Google it.
Download it.
Unzip it.
Drag it to desktop.
In audacity File>Export as MP3
Choose the Lame_enc.dll file on desktop
Click Okay
Fill out the ID tags
you're done.

you only have to do it once too..

Either you're really bad at explaining or your friends shouldn't be using computers in the first place
 
I'm not belittling you. I'm telling you that you probably cause the same frustration in others when they try to explain something in particular to you. Everyone does. If you can't handle the frustration, stop trying to help.

Perhaps they just don't care enough about the subject and, since you're always there to help, don't feel the need to remember what you're telling them. It's frustrating, but it happens.
