One of my dogs has an allergic reaction to chicken, so I switched to dog food. Then I found that both dogs absolutely love fish. (I mean *absolutely* love it.)
I began giving them fish only as a treat, but I now have a BIG question: How much fish is too much? They've been eating eggs + fish + some dog food. Is there some kind of "maximum fish limit" for dogs?
All I can see on the Net is that carp (as one example) reduces some vitamin, "so don't feed it too often," but there's no info other than that. Just supposing I were to feed them only fish and eggs, do you think there would be long-term issues? (I steam the fish, and I remove all bones.)
Thanks for reading!
