Yet Another New N73 ME Firmware

This one's 3.0705.1.0.31, and apparently out for EMEA as well as APAC. Word on Symbian-Freak forums is that it's MUCH faster and more stable, anyone wanna try it or find a changelog?? If it's faster, I'm tempted to put the finishing touch on my newly-housed N73.

im still running stock 2.0638.0.0.30. As for updates how long does the process take? If this new update makes the phone run faster im willing to update.

you change the product code using NSS (Nemesis Service Suite). i'm not sure which product codes are receiving this update though.

they release different f/w updates for different regions. the APAC f/w wasn't included in the recent f/w update that the Euro phones got.

Yes, thats why its called music edition sorry to say it, i don't mind it.


can you put your phone in mass storage mode? yes u can use your phone as mass storage that how i transfer my mp3, its only a small update so yeah.

Previous version was very stable on my N73 ME, not sure what they mean by stable with this verison? Anyways.. updated to the new version, I will post any improvements after using it for a day.

Reason I ask is that I recall with the last firmware for ME, alot of users weren't able to put their phone in Mass Storage mode, it always gave an error saying it couldnt'.

I have to say I'm real tempted to update my phone to ME again now that it appears they've stabilized the firmware alot.

what is your product code? my original product code (0543843) is still showing FW 3.0638.0.0.30 as being the most up to date. I had to change to a Euro code to get the 3.0649.0.0.31 update. (which is shown as the most current for the Euro1 product code...)
