...keep or buy new? The Kenwood in dash stereo has am/fm radio, and cassette and a remote 6 disc music cd changer in the trunk that is controlled at the dash. that's a 3 in 1 system and a darn good one ecept for the faulty cassette player which has one of my prized tapes jammed in that will not eject out of it!
If you were like me and liked both CD music and playing old casseette music from 20 years ago in the same in dash stereo and had a problem with the cassette player malfunctioning would you
A. chunk the one in the dash and get an HD radio with cd player but no cassette?
B. look for the same exact unit as above from Kraig's list or Ebay or Amazon?
C. upgrade to a newer HD radio with CD but without Cassette?
Why don't they make one that does all the above, I hate having to compromise.
What do you think?
By the way I contacted Kenwood and they do not have this model anymore and
I also contacted Best Buy, they know I love the cassette but they say most all of the new stuff has no cassette interface but rather mp3 and hd radio and sirus satellite radio.
It seems I may have to convert all my audio cassettes to disc, but what am I gonna do with the cassette that is permanently stuck in the cassette slot of my Kenwood? OMG! I had some great tunes on that tape.
