Yes or no ...... should animals have their legs broken to stop them from wandering?

A Church I formerly attended had a Pastor who believed it was acceptable to cripple believers (whether emotionally or mentally) to prevent them from leaving the Church or wandering.

It is supposedly the practice of some Shepherds to break the legs of young lambs if they are prone to wandering away from the flock.

The Pastor has a University degree in Animal-Husbandry.

That's like me asking you
"Is it okay is I remove your eyeballs so you can't see what I'm about to do?"
or
"Can I shoot you in both ears so you don't hear this conversation?"

Religion equates to a willingness to eradicate and entire race of people based on who's fairy tale they believe. Religion was created to explain science to uneducated people and further defined to control the masses. If you have a relationship with God, that is between you and God. Your pastor is a frightening individual, I'd take him apart for trying to "break" some part, mentally or physically, of me.

no you evil sick person! why would you do that... we are animals in our own right and yet does god break our legs to stop us from wondering? obviously not because we have freedom animals have the right to wander freely... think about what you ask next time!
