When you got Yasmin did you get a month supply or can you get a 4 month supply at one visit?

Finally got Yasmin from my doc today!!! What kind of differences have people noticed switching to Yasmin from Ortho?

My daughter did not do well on Ortho-tri-cyclen. She stayed on it for 5 months with no end in sight to the breakouts. She waited a couple of years and is now on Yasmin and she noticed clearing almost immediately. Keep us posted.

I can get 3 months at a time, but I only get one. With my insurance, I pay $25 a pack since brand name.

My skin definitely cleared up while I used Yasmin. I didn't notice just how much until I stopped using it 9 months later. Stopping the use of Yasmin may have contributed to my increase in breakouts afterwarRAB though :(

$25!!?? I wish I had your coverage! One pack of Yasmin cost me $50!! which believe is full price..

Can I ask, those of you who have noticed improvements, how long did it take? I've been on it for 5 weeks and no improvement yet :(

My skin was clear and I lost weight on Yasmin----- but I had significant hair loss. Other people have posted this side effect on the hair and birth control boarRAB.

I noticed clearer skin/fewer monthly breakouts probably about 2-3 months after starting Yasmin.

I can write a book on my skin and all the medication and perscription drugs I used to get rid of acne. To make a long story short, I just started Yasmin a few days ago and I may be seeing improvement already. I was on Alesse 3 months prior which made my skin oilier and worse (at one point it seemed like i was getting cystic acne). After hearing mostly good reviews of yasmin, I went on it and I believe I am going to be happy with it. Yasmin contains NO androgen which is a male sex hormone that produces more oil. I recommend Yasmin but I say to wait at least 5-6 months before deciding if a pill is right for you. I knew Alesse was bad for me from the start because it contained androgen and was too low of a dosage.
