so im going to try and make yarn from golden retriver fur(undercoat) its not matted, large debris removed, about and inch-inch and a half long. so im planning on washing it, spinning it, carding it(ill get back to that) so what order should i do it in? as in i no carding goes first then spinning, but when should i wash it? what will make the best yarn? Also do you think ill need to card it? ive straightened out the fibers best i can, and some one told me i might not have to depending on how good the fur is so i wasnt sure. please only answer if you personaly make yarn, i dont want dumb answers(thats not meant to sound rube but somthings ive seen on here are ridiculous) THANK YOU BUNCHES!
