i've put a thundercat engine into a joyner 2 seater beach buggy but i've got a few problems with it.
1st problem........ try starting it on the switch & the starter solenoid clicks & on the speedo the petrol & oil lights flash & the rev counter starts to go on 1 (there is oil in the engine)
2........... i can bump start it but it seems to be holding back then after about 1 min the half moon shape bit on the rocker cover gasket blows oil straight out of it as if there's a compression build up(when this first happened it sounded like the rad pipe had blown but it wasn't it was the gasket on the rocker)
and i have replaced the wiring loom.. ecu ... coils...Regulator Recifier....starter solenoid ...main relay
but none of this helped with starting it on the switch,
any advice would be grateful
