yamaha xj6 n a good starter bike?

I'm 19 in november an am looking to get a motorbike. I was originally thinking about the wr250x but have heard mixed reviews about it. then i saw the xj6 n, which is more powerful and cheaper? So i was wondering if anyone know anything about it and how suitable it would be for a first time rider, i used to have a ped a few years back and have a motorcross bike i ride in the fields etc but thats as far as my experience goes. the other reason for the interest in the xj6 n is that yamaha have a 0% finance deal on it at the moment. Also does anyone know how easy it would be to get restricted and how much it costs roughly? as it would need restricting to 33hp for 2 years. thanks a lot
